The Phoenix Suns have acquired forward Richaun Holmes from the Philadelphia 76ers, in exchange for cash considerations.

In a separate move earlier in the morning, Phoenix sent swingman Jared Dudley and a 2021 second-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for forward Darrell Arthur.

The contracts of Shaquille Harrison and Davon Reed are also expected to be guaranteed.

Arthur is expected to be bought out by the Suns. He appeared in just 19 games for Denver last season before a trade sent him to Brooklyn earlier this summer.

In 19 appearances for the Nuggets last season Arthur averaged 2.8 points and 0.8 rebounds.

Holmes, 24, has spent the entirety of his three-year career with the 76ers, after being selected with the 37th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

With a $1.6 million team-option picked up on June 29, Holmes carries a January 10 date in which his counteract would be fully guaranteed.

Phoenix must waive Holmes by January 7 in order to have him off the roster by January 10.

Holmes averaged 7.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game with Philadelphia.

Dudley, 33, is reportedly not seeking a buyout with the Nets and intends to play for the team this season.

In seven seasons with Phoenix, Dudley averaged 8.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 468 games.
