Memphis gets an easy week in terms of games played, with only two games this week. The Grizzlies had five games in seven nights previously, and extra rest will do wonders for the 3-4 Grizz. Memphis enters the week after back to back home losses, first to the Clippers and then to the Blazers on Sunday night.

Denver Nuggets

Memphis opens up the week on Tuesday with a matchup with the up and coming Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are 3-3 on the young season.

Chandler Parsons will be playing in his second game after a bit of a rough debut Sunday. Parsons played 18 minutes and did not score against Portland. The offseason signee was 0-8 from the field. Grizzlies fans have been clamoring for Parsons to enter the lineup, and against the Blazers, they got that wish. Grizzlies fans will have to be patient as Parsons works back into shape and the chemistry with his new teammates grows; all while doing it with a 20 minutes a game limit.

The Nuggets come off of a 123-107 victory over the Boston Celtics. Emmanuel Mudiay put in 30 points, with 24 coming in the opening quarter. Denver is one of the younger rosters in the league, and because of that, they have struggled a bit to finish off close games. Denver blew an eight-point lead in the final minute of an overtime loss to Portland and lost by three at Toronto just a couple days later. In a close game, Memphis definitely has the upper hand because of the duo of Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.

Milwaukee Bucks

Saturday, 12 November 2016 at 08:30 PM ET Away

Memphis ends the week with a matchup against the young and athletic Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are 4-3 so far this season. Milwaukee is completely centered around Giannis Antetokounmpo. In the recent General Manager’s survey, 27.6 percent of NBA GM’s said that Antetokounmpo is the best foreign born player in the league. His play backs it up. Antetokounmpo currently leads the Bucks in points, assists, rebounds, blocks, steals and field goal percentage.

Memphis is looking for their first road victory of the year. A slow start against the Knicks and resting Conley and Gasol against the Timberwolves have the Grizzlies 0-2 away from the FedEx Forum. Memphis will have three rest days before facing Milwaukee, so the full compliment of players should be available. The Bucks game kicks off a four-game road trip, the first one of the year for Memphis.
