A Summary and Scouting Report of our Fantasy Basketball Draft

A Summary and Scouting Report of our Fantasy Basketball Draft

I normally do a post-draft write-up on our league message board, including a quick scouting report and projected finish, but thought I’d share it with our readers.

I normally do a post-draft write-up on our league message board, including a quick scouting report and projected finish, but thought I’d share it with our readers.

I’ve been playing in the same re-draft league, with the same core group of people for the past 8 seasons. I’ve known some for more than half of my life, and was so keen on one being a part of our league, that I married his sister to sweeten the deal.

It’s a 14 team, 14 player H2H league with 2 IL spots, and is the inspiration behind our Deep League Relevant podcast, hosted by Nem, occasionally Daniel, and myself.

Our draft took place on the 18th of October. I normally do a post-draft write-up on our league message board, including a quick scouting report and projected finish, but thought I’d share it with our readers.

Nem Overall: 1st

1st PTS 1st 3PM 1st FT% 4th AST 5th REB

BEST VALUE: Danny Green (113)

Nem got given the ultimate fantasy basketball gift (pick #1 in the draft), and drafted a team worthy of favouritism status. It’s hard to see him not take it out this season (pending a major catastrophe). I'm also expecting him to (try and) grow a beard at some point this season as homage to Harden.

He drafted a team elite in PTS, FT%, PM, AST and REB. He’s also solid in STL and got good value with Danny Green at pick 113.
