Week 14 Games Per Day

Monday: 9 games
Tuesday: 8 games
Wednesday: 8 games
Thursday: 6 games
Friday: 9 games
Saturday: 7 games
Sunday: 7 games

All days this week have fewer than 10 games, for possibly the most open schedule we've seen so far this year. There are also plenty of B2B's, excluding the weekend in which only the Warriors play both days. The entire week is incredibly streamer-friendly, so it would be very beneficial to study your opponent and try and stack those stats early and often!

Indiana Pacers

I think I've written about Indiana's frontcourt almost every week so far this year, and just when I think they've dialed in their rotation, an injury or breakout game happens. As long as Mahinmi (23%) is out, Myles Turner (44%) should probably be owned from his recent explosiveness, and Jordan Hill (17%) gets more run as a scoring big. The Pacers have 3 games this week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Charlotte Hornets

Cody Zeller (22%) is reported to miss the next week before even being evaluated, and now seems like about the time Batum should be a constant injury watch. Additionally, Jeremy Lamb (15%) has yet to fully return so that rotation is getting even thinner for the Hornets.

Thus far Spencer Hawes (2%) has absorbed most of the minutes in these last 2 games without Zeller, but Kaminsky (36%) has been the more reliable three-point option so far this season. P.J. Hairston (1%) has an opportunity here should Batum miss any stretch, but he is mostly just a streaky points and threes guy. It could start looking real ugly in Charlotte by the end of the season, and while it's hard to peg any of these guys as standard-league capable, stranger things have happened.

The Hornets still have to show up to 4 games this week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Willey Cauley-Stein 27% ownership

Monday Tuesday Thursday Saturday

Trill has seen 3 games with 29+ minutes in a row in which he recorded 2 double-doubles, 6 steals and 3 blocks. Hopefully the rookie takes this opportunity to finish the season strong with a somewhat surging Kings team. The only thing in his way is Kosta Koufas (26%), so there is upside to be had here if he can keep it up without hurting himself. The Kings play 4 games on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Josh Smith 23% ownership

Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday

The return to Houston could force Josh back into standard relevancy, despite his best efforts. He can be incredibly inefficient in turnovers and percentages far too often, but he could be an intriguing flier for the right team build, and puts up some very interesting lines on occasion. In his 2 games with Houston he has racked up a total of 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, 5 blocks, and 18 points including 2 threes on 29% shooting with 3 turnovers in 44 minutes. His ownership percentage is rising as I'm writing this, and the Rockets get 4 games this week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Norris Cole 16% ownership

Monday Thursday Saturday

At the very least his playing time should be in the upper 20's while Eric Gordon remains sidelined for 4-6 weeks after finger surgery. Actually producing is up to Cole himself, and his track record is spotty at best for standards, but the possible shutdown and/or inevitable injury rate of Tyreke Evans only adds to potential value. The Pels play 3 games this week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Gary Harris 14% ownership

Monday Wednesday Thursday Saturday

Gary has consistent averages of 1.3 threes and 1.1 steals per game on the season, and just saw a career high 5 steals on Saturday. He has tallied 10+ points in 7 of his last 8 games and, after a short slump of lackluster shooting, is back to 45% from the field.

Allen Crabbe 18% ownership

Tuesday Friday Sunday

Allen is a similar alternative, and although he is coming off a bad week he has otherwise been a consistent option.

Archie Goodwin 10% ownership

Tuesday Wednesday Friday Sunday

Brandon Knight's rest of season outlook is not at an all-time high, to say the least, and Goodwin has tallied 44 points with 4 threes in his last 2 games with Knight out, including a game-winning three pointer. Wow. Take it how you will, but he is at least worth streaming while Knight remains sidelined. Phoenix plays 4 games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

It's time for that fantasy playoff push, streamers, but don't make any rash decisions during your frantic scrambling.
