Deep League Relevant: 9th Mar - 15th Mar

For some this is the important week before H2H playoffs which will shape whether you make it or not. This week we find players who should still be available in most 12-14 team deep leagues.

Dennis Schroder (Atlanta Hawks, PG)

Owned in 10% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 9th March and Sunday 15th March.

Why is Dennis worth adding?
Dennis has been stuffing the stat sheet while Atlanta has been putting their starting 5 on shuffle. In the past 7 days he has averaged 16 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 1.3 3’s. Games this week against Denver and the Lakers present themselves as ideal games to rest a starter or two and if that’s the case then Dennis will no doubt rise to the occasion.

Alexey Shved (New York Knicks, PG/SG)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
5 games scheduled between Monday 9th March and Sunday 15th March.

Why is Alexey worth adding?
Alexey is inefficient so only look at him if you’re willing to punt FG%. Over the last 7 days he has been putting up an average of 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. New York also has the very rare 5 game week so there’s plenty of stats to be collected.

Nick Calathes (Memphis Grizzlies, PG/SG)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 9th March and Sunday 15th March.

Why is Nick worth adding?
Nick has been quietly (like any good thief) accumulating one of the hardest categories to find on the waiver wire, steals. Over the past 14 days he has averaged 2.4 steals a game.

Michael Beasley SF/PF (Miami Heat, SF/PF) & Tyler Johnson (Miami Heat, SG)

Owned in 3% & 6% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 9th March and Sunday 15th March.

Why are Michael & Tyler worth adding?
At one point last week Miami’s entire starting 5 was a game time decision. With injury concerns hovering over so many key players it’s only natural that some key bench guys are going to be asked to step up. Over the past week Tyler put up 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.5 steals while Beasley put up 12 points and 5 rebounds. If injuries continue to be a problem for Miami’s starters it’s start to get these guys into your line-up.

Gary Neal (Minnesota Timberwolves, PG/SG)

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 9th March and Sunday 15th March.

Why is Gary worth adding?
Gary is a streaky shooter and he’s currently shooting the lights out. Over the past 3 games he has been putting up top 50 numbers averaging 20 points, 5 rebounds and 1.3 3’s. If you need points ride Gary during his streak.
