I hope you’ve all had a great start to 2016 and that you’ve all recovered from your new year’s celebrations (for those who have stopped partying).

To make things a little easier here’s our latest list of deep league relevant players who are owned in 7% or less of Yahoo leagues.

Shane Larkin (Brooklyn Nets, PG)

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 4th January and Sunday 10th January.

Why is Shane worth adding?
Larkin is the logical choice as the Nets starter if Jack is set to miss any time with his knee injury. He’s worth adding as a spot-starter at the very least for Monday’s game and by then we should know the extent of Jack’s injury. Add Larkin if you need PG stats and have somebody you can part ways with.

Larry Nance Jr (Los Angeles Lakers, PF)

Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 4th January and Sunday 10th January.

Why is Larry worth adding?
Nance Jr is currently the Lakers starting PF (for now, before he gets Scott’ed). His hustle has been a welcome addition to LA and he has delivered with 2 double-doubles in his past 4 games. He won’t give you much outside of PTS and REB, but if that’s what you need then Nance Jr is a nice short term play.

Norris Cole (New Orleans Pelicans, PG/SG)

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 4th January and Sunday 10th January.

Why is Norris worth adding?
With Ish Smith being traded to the 76ers it has freed up some time at the back-up PG spot for Cole. He has played 30+ minutes over the past 3 games and has put up averages of 16 PTS, 8.3 REB, 3.7 AST, 2 STL and 1 3PM. While the REB numbers are inflated he’s still a good option even if Tyreke returns on Monday.

Jeff Withey (Utah Jazz, C)

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
5 games scheduled between Monday 4th January and Sunday 10th January.

Why is Jeff worth adding?
Jeff has done a fine job of being the stand-in dominant big while Favors has been out injured with averages of 11.5 PTS, 8.5 REB, 1.3 STL and 3 BLK over the past 7 days. Utah play 5 games this week and Jeff is worth streaming until Favors returns.

Darrell Arthur (Denver Nuggets, PF)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 4th January and Sunday 10th January.

Why is Darrell worth adding?
Without sounding like a jerk, Arthur is in line to get some extra minutes with Faried's unfortunate injury. Set expectations accordingly as Denver could just as easily play Gallinari extended minutes at PF or give Jokic, Nurkic, Hickson or Lauvergne time there. If you've got a free roster spot and you're in a really deep league it's worth adding Arthur as a speculative add since Denver do like to run a small ball line-up.
