SHOW TOP PLAYERS POSITION POSITIONS FROM NBA TEAM SHOW DATA AND RANKINGS FROM BASE RANKINGS ON

COLOR GUIDE:   Elite Very Good Good Average Below Average Not good    ICONS:  Currently injured In doubt (check injury status)

1. Joel Embiid

PHI | 27.4 years old | 7'0" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 15.4 | FX ADP: 16.1

He's a top fantasy player (and MVP candidate) when he's switched on, and he has been switched on all season

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 1 48 32.7 0.545 (9.7/17.9) 0.862 (10.2/11.9) 1.1 30.8 10.9 3.5 1.2 1.6 3.2 15.49
2020/21 Season 5 51 31.3 0.512 (9.0/17.7) 0.860 (9.2/10.8) 1.1 28.5 10.5 2.8 1.0 1.4 3.1 11.35

The good:

His worst category last season was 3PM, where he averaged 1.1 per game (which is still good for a C eligible player).

The bad:

Can have stretches of games where he doesn't shoot the ball well (last season he shot 45% from the field in November, and 44% from the field in February).

2. Stephen Curry

GSW | 33.4 years old | 6'3" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SG | Y! ADP: 5.9 | FX ADP: 8.2

Steph is back

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL

The good:

Will come back fresh this season, on a team ready to win games again.

3. Nikola Jokic

DEN | 26.4 years old | 7'0" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 7.5 | FX ADP: 7.0

Has elevated his game to another level this season, increasing his scoring by almost 7 points and 1.5 assists. He'll be in contention for the number 1 pick heading into next season with a likely MVP trophy heading his way and no Murray to start the season

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 3 70 34.9 0.559 (10.5/18.7) 0.848 (4.6/5.4) 1.3 26.8 10.4 9.5 1.3 0.7 3.5 13.63
2020/21 Season 1 72 34.6 0.566 (10.2/18.0) 0.868 (4.8/5.5) 1.3 26.4 10.8 8.3 1.3 0.7 3.1 13.71

The good:

We saw a more scoring orientated Jokic in the playoffs (24.4 points in a 19 game sample size).

The bad:

Has a tendency to start seasons slowly.

4. James Harden

BRO | 31.9 years old | 6'5" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SG,SF | Y! ADP: 2.1 | FX ADP: 2.4

His value takes a small hit moving to Brooklyn. We won't see the 40+ point games like we got used to in Houston, but he's making up for it in shooting efficiency

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 4 64 35.3 0.461 (7.7/16.7) 0.887 (7.6/8.5) 2.8 25.8 7.8 10.9 1.1 0.7 4.0 12.75
2020/21 Season 3 44 36.6 0.466 (7.8/16.7) 0.861 (6.3/7.3) 2.8 24.6 7.9 10.8 1.2 0.8 4.0 11.79

Draft note:

The clear number 1 pick if he stays in Houston, but his attitude towards turning up to training camp is going to see him slide, and I don't blame you for taking Anthony Davis with pick 1 instead.

The good:

Has consistently been the best player in fantasy basketball for the past few seasons.

The bad:

Can sink your FG% for the week in H2H leagues if he has a bad shooting night. If he gets traded to Brooklyn then he won't be the number 1 fantasy player this season (unless he gets traded for Kyrie).

5. Karl-Anthony Towns

MIN | 25.7 years old | 6'11" | Y!: C | FX: C | Y! ADP: 5.7 | FX ADP: 8.1

The fact that KAT has been able to play so well on the court with so much happening off it speaks volumes about his character

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 5 44 33.5 0.490 (9.4/19.2) 0.865 (5.7/6.6) 3.0 27.5 12.8 4.9 0.6 1.4 3.2 12.09

The bad:

Missed a chunk of games for the first time in his career last season.

6. Kawhi Leonard

LAC | 30.1 years old | 6'7" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: SG,SF | Y! ADP: 13.4 | FX ADP: 12.6

An elite per-game fantasy player. His on-going knee issues might be an issue in a compacted fantasy schedule, but he'll still be a top-8 fantasy player

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 6 60 32.1 0.490 (9.4/19.2) 0.891 (5.7/6.4) 2.0 26.6 6.9 5.5 1.7 0.6 2.2 10.87
2020/21 Season 8 52 34.1 0.512 (8.9/17.5) 0.885 (5.0/5.7) 1.9 24.8 6.5 5.2 1.6 0.4 2.0 9.62

Draft note:

His load management reputation will likely see him slide outside of the top 10 in drafts, and I can't blame you for passing on him given how condensed the 2020-21 schedule could be.

The good:

A top-5 fantasy player when factoring per-game value.

7. Kevin Durant

BRO | 32.8 years old | 6'10" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 12.6 | FX ADP: 12.8

I'm still worried about how players return from serious Achilles injuries, but he's playing like a top-10 fantasy player, and I don't think Harden joining Brooklyn is going to hurt his numbers too much (we've seen him be a top-10 player playing in Golden State)

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 7 48 35.0 0.517 (9.9/19.1) 0.871 (5.9/6.8) 2.8 28.5 6.4 4.8 0.8 1.2 3.8 10.77

The good:

Durant is an elite player whose game doesn't rely on athleticism.

The bad:

Might start the seaeson slow as he adjusts to returning to the NBA post-injury.

8. Damian Lillard

POR | 31.0 years old | 6'2" | Y!: PG | FX: PG | Y! ADP: 7.9 | FX ADP: 8.3

Continues to return top-5 value, but is often not taken until the end of the first round

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 8 65 35.9 0.438 (9.9/22.5) 0.897 (6.8/7.6) 4.2 30.7 4.2 8.5 1.1 0.3 3.0 10.20
2020/21 Season 7 67 35.8 0.452 (9.0/19.9) 0.928 (6.7/7.2) 4.1 28.7 4.2 7.5 0.9 0.3 3.0 10.26

The good:

His only negative category last season was TO and continues to provide value as somebody who can be drafted outside of the top 8.

The bad:

Averaged 37.5 minutes per game last season as Portland was desperate to secure a playoff spot. Hard to see him playing that many minutes this season.

9. Jayson Tatum

BOS | 23.4 years old | 6'8" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 11.8 | FX ADP: 12.4

He continues to improve his fantasy output, and with Kemba's knee injuries looking like a long-term thing, it means more of Tatum running the offensive end

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 9 60 34.6 0.483 (10.0/20.6) 0.860 (4.6/5.3) 3.1 27.6 7.3 4.9 1.4 0.7 2.4 9.88

The good:

Usage should continue to go up as he becomes Boston's best offensive player. Averaged 1.2 blocks during his playoff run last season so the potential to be a 1 block per game player is there.

10. Luka Doncic

DAL | 22.4 years old | 6'7" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SF | Y! ADP: 2.4 | FX ADP: 2.6

Luka is approaching walking triple-double status, his shooting %s are no longer a problem, and his defensive numbers are becoming respectable

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 10 65 34.1 0.473 (10.5/22.2) 0.801 (6.2/7.8) 2.5 29.7 8.7 9.4 1.0 0.7 4.2 9.47

The bad:

People might reach for him on draft-day and take him super early (pick 1 or 2).

11. Kyrie Irving

BRO | 29.4 years old | 6'2" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SG | Y! ADP: 24.5 | FX ADP: 23.8

The talent is always going to be there, it's just a matter of whether he can stay on the court

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 11 50 35.2 0.512 (10.4/20.4) 0.913 (3.2/3.5) 2.9 27.0 4.2 6.1 0.9 0.5 2.6 8.49

The good:

His per-game production is elite and will be motivated to prove that he's capable of leading Brooklyn into a deep playoff run.

The bad:

There are serious concerns with his health, and he's always a chance to miss games.

12. Bam Adebayo

MIA | 24.0 years old | 6'9" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 18.1 | FX ADP: 18.0

Bam has become an elite 6-category player. He won't hit 3s, and his FT% is still inconsistent (and still improving), but his output is perfect for almost all builds, and he'll be a top-5 center for years to come

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 12 63 34.1 0.571 (7.3/12.8) 0.825 (5.0/6.1) 0.0 19.6 9.9 5.7 1.0 1.2 2.9 8.42

The good:

Shot 78.3% from the line during the playoffs and 73.5% the season prior, which bodes well for his FT% to bounce back to above 70% this season.

13. Paul George

LAC | 31.2 years old | 6'8" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 21.0 | FX ADP: 24.9

Regular-season P is back, and he's returning top-10 value. Expect more of the same as we go deeper into the season so long as he can stay healthy

The good:

Injuries impacted his production last season and he could slide in fantasy drafts.

14. Jimmy Butler

MIA | 31.9 years old | 6'7" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SG,SF | Y! ADP: 19.4 | FX ADP: 21.1

Butler is back to playing like a top 10-15 guy, expect much of the same next season

The good:

Averaged 22.2 PTS, 6.5 REB, 6 AST, 2 STL, and shot 48.8% from the field and 85.9% from the line during the playoffs.

15. Zion Williamson

NOP | 21.1 years old | 6'6" | Y!: PF | FX: PF | Y! ADP: 27.8 | FX ADP: 33.7

He's started to show signs of being a consistent fantasy player, and there's still plenty of room for improvement (FT%, 3PM)

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 15 61 32.5 0.629 (11.2/17.8) 0.707 (6.8/9.6) 0.5 29.6 7.3 4.9 1.0 0.8 3.1 7.09

The good:

Bullied opponents in his rookie season and can score whenever he takes it to the rim.

The bad:

Carrying around that much weight can have an impact on his knees during a compacted season. Teams have had a full off-season to prepare for him.

16. Giannis Antetokounmpo

MIL | 26.7 years old | 6'11" | Y!: PF,C | FX: SF,PF,C | Y! ADP: 4.3 | FX ADP: 2.6

His FT% almost dipped down to his FG% last season, but if you're drafting Giannis you're punting FT%, and he's the best fantasy player in punt FT% builds

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 16 69 33.8 0.554 (10.0/18.1) 0.672 (6.6/9.7) 1.5 28.1 11.2 6.0 1.1 1.2 3.7 6.79
2020/21 Season 12 61 33.1 0.569 (10.3/18.0) 0.685 (6.5/9.5) 1.1 28.1 11.0 5.9 1.2 1.2 3.4 7.72

Draft note:

His ranking is deceiving since it factors in his FT%. He's an obvious top-5 pick in H2H leagues, it just means you'll be drafting using a punt FT% build.

The good:

The best player in punt FT% builds and his 3-point shot is continuing to improve.

17. Clint Capela

ATL | 27.2 years old | 6'10" | Y!: C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 59.9 | FX ADP: 54.8

Has quickly reminded all of us what he's capable of doing on the basketball court, and will be close to finishing the season as the league's top rebounder

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 17 59 33.7 0.580 (7.1/12.2) 0.676 (2.5/3.8) 0.0 16.7 14.5 1.4 0.8 2.2 1.6 6.65

The good:

Atlanta has been desperate for interior defensive help so Capela fills an instant need. He'll work great with Trae Young on the pick and roll.

The bad:

On a team with another big man in the starting line-up and will share some rebounds and easy buckets around the rim. Atlanta also just drafted Okongwu, who plays the same position. Has a tendency of missing games.

18. Trae Young

ATL | 22.9 years old | 6'1" | Y!: PG | FX: PG | Y! ADP: 10.1 | FX ADP: 10.8

His value is back to where you'd expect it to be after an inconsistent start to the season

The good:

Improves his scoring by over 10 points last season while improving his shooting efficiency. Expect him to be a contender to lead the league in assists this season.

The bad:

Rumors are floating around about Atlanta wanting to add talent to make a push for the playoffs, which could (ever so slightly) bite into some of Young's usage depending on who's added.

19. Bradley Beal

WAS | 28.1 years old | 6'3" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: SG | Y! ADP: 17.6 | FX ADP: 21.8

Playing next to Westbrook hasn't impacted his output at all, and has actually improved his FG%, shooting 48% from the field this season

The good:

Returned top-10 per-game value last season.

The bad:

Westbrook is a ball-dominant player who will take usage away from Beal.

20. Kristaps Porzingis

DAL | 26.0 years old | 7'3" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 59.7 | FX ADP: 79.1

His FG% will always be an issue since almost half of his field-goal attempts are from behind the arc, but he makes up for it with his elite shot-blocking. Injuries are the only thing limiting his upside

The good:

Has an elite fantasy game and is in a great situation in Dallas.

The bad:

Injuries continue to be a common theme and his body may not be capable of playing a full season.

21. Nikola Vucevic

CHI | 30.8 years old | 6'11" | Y!: C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 29.9 | FX ADP: 25.2

His membership has been revoked from the 1-1-1 club (averaging 1 3-pointer, 1 steal, and 1 block), but he's working on getting it back

The good:

Doesn't hurt you in any category, and is the rare C eligible player who can hit 1.5+ 3PM while being a positive contributor in FG%.

22. Julius Randle

NYK | 26.7 years old | 6'8" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 77.4 | FX ADP: 66.8

Took his game to another level this season, and will finish the season in the top-10 players who increased their fantasy output from last season. Still doesn't provide much in terms of STL and BLK, but that doesn't really matter given his output across other categories

The good:

Better suited in the points league format.

The bad:

Barely managed to crack the top-100 last season while averaging 19.5 PTS, 9.7 REB, and 3.1 AST and provides very little in the defensive categories.

23. Zach LaVine

CHI | 26.4 years old | 6'6" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: PG,SG,SF | Y! ADP: 31.2 | FX ADP: 33.2

It's debatable whether LaVine is a good-stats-bad-team guy, but you can't deny the numbers he's putting up and should continue to flirt with top 20 value next season playing alongside Nikola Vucevic

Expect him to put up big numbers when he spot-starts, but he's not somebody that'll ever lock down a starting spot given his defensive deficiencies
