SHOW TOP PLAYERS POSITION POSITIONS FROM NBA TEAM SHOW DATA AND RANKINGS FROM BASE RANKINGS ON

COLOR GUIDE:   Elite Very Good Good Average Below Average Not good    ICONS:  Currently injured In doubt (check injury status)

1. Nikola Jokic

DEN | 25.9 years old | 7'0" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 7.5 | FX ADP: 7.0

Can realistically end the season with 9+ assists per game, which makes him a top-3 fantasy player

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 1 70 33.3 0.553 (9.5/17.2) 0.819 (3.5/4.3) 1.2 23.8 10.6 9.6 1.4 0.7 3.4 13.87
2019/20 Season 11 73 32.0 0.528 (7.7/14.7) 0.817 (3.4/4.1) 1.1 19.9 9.7 7.0 1.2 0.6 3.1 9.00

The good:

We saw a more scoring orientated Jokic in the playoffs (24.4 points in a 19 game sample size).

The bad:

Has a tendency to start seasons slowly.

2. James Harden

BRO | 31.4 years old | 6'5" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SG,SF | Y! ADP: 2.1 | FX ADP: 2.4

His value takes a small hit moving to Brooklyn (mostly in scoring and assists), but he's still a top-5 fantasy option

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 2 64 35.3 0.451 (8.0/17.7) 0.874 (7.7/8.8) 3.6 27.3 5.8 8.0 1.5 0.8 4.1 13.26
2019/20 Season 1 68 36.5 0.444 (9.9/22.3) 0.865 (10.2/11.8) 4.4 34.3 6.5 7.5 1.8 0.9 4.5 16.87

Draft note:

The clear number 1 pick if he stays in Houston, but his attitude towards turning up to training camp is going to see him slide, and I don't blame you for taking Anthony Davis with pick 1 instead.

The good:

Has consistently been the best player in fantasy basketball for the past few seasons.

The bad:

Can sink your FG% for the week in H2H leagues if he has a bad shooting night. If he gets traded to Brooklyn then he won't be the number 1 fantasy player this season (unless he gets traded for Kyrie).

3. Karl-Anthony Towns

MIN | 25.2 years old | 6'11" | Y!: C | FX: C | Y! ADP: 5.7 | FX ADP: 8.1

The fact that KAT has been able to play so well on the court with so much happening off it speaks volumes about his character

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 3 44 30.0 0.515 (8.0/15.5) 0.830 (4.9/6.0) 2.6 23.5 11.7 3.7 1.0 1.8 3.0 12.86
2019/20 Season 4 35 33.9 0.508 (9.0/17.8) 0.796 (5.1/6.5) 3.3 26.5 10.8 4.4 0.9 1.2 3.1 11.79

The bad:

Missed a chunk of games for the first time in his career last season.

4. Stephen Curry

GSW | 32.9 years old | 6'3" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SG | Y! ADP: 5.9 | FX ADP: 8.2

Steph is back

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 4 65 33.1 0.466 (8.8/18.9) 0.921 (6.2/6.8) 4.4 28.2 5.4 6.4 1.2 0.5 3.8 12.79
2019/20 Season 17 5 27.9 0.402 (6.6/16.4) 1.000 (5.2/5.2) 2.4 20.8 5.2 6.6 1.0 0.4 3.2 7.69

The good:

Will come back fresh this season, on a team ready to win games again.

5. Anthony Davis

LAL | 27.9 years old | 6'10" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 3.4 | FX ADP: 4.0

LA has stacked their roster with enough talent to coast their way through the regular season, so we might not see Davis kick into next gear until we start getting closer to the playoffs

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 5 65 33.6 0.528 (8.9/16.9) 0.809 (6.1/7.5) 1.3 25.2 9.2 3.1 1.4 2.1 2.4 12.60
2019/20 Season 2 62 34.4 0.503 (8.9/17.7) 0.846 (7.2/8.5) 1.2 26.1 9.3 3.2 1.5 2.3 2.5 13.97

The bad:

Still has a tendency of getting hurt (although LA's medical team seem to be managing him better than New Orleans did).

6. Kawhi Leonard

LAC | 29.6 years old | 6'7" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: SG,SF | Y! ADP: 13.4 | FX ADP: 12.6

An elite per-game fantasy player. His on-going knee issues might be an issue in a compacted fantasy schedule, but he'll still be a top-8 fantasy player

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 6 60 32.1 0.475 (9.3/19.7) 0.868 (6.1/7.1) 2.2 27.0 6.9 4.8 1.8 0.6 2.6 10.91
2019/20 Season 5 57 32.4 0.470 (9.3/19.9) 0.886 (6.3/7.1) 2.2 27.1 7.1 4.9 1.8 0.6 2.6 11.69

Draft note:

His load management reputation will likely see him slide outside of the top 10 in drafts, and I can't blame you for passing on him given how condensed the 2020-21 schedule could be.

The good:

A top-5 fantasy player when factoring per-game value.

7. Damian Lillard

POR | 30.5 years old | 6'2" | Y!: PG | FX: PG | Y! ADP: 7.9 | FX ADP: 8.3

Continues to return top-5 value, but is often not taken until the end of the first round

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 7 65 35.9 0.435 (9.5/21.9) 0.897 (6.8/7.6) 4.2 30.0 4.2 7.5 1.1 0.3 3.0 10.67
2019/20 Season 3 66 37.5 0.463 (9.5/20.4) 0.888 (7.0/7.9) 4.1 30.0 4.3 8.0 1.1 0.3 2.9 12.54

The good:

His only negative category last season was TO and continues to provide value as somebody who can be drafted outside of the top 8.

The bad:

Averaged 37.5 minutes per game last season as Portland was desperate to secure a playoff spot. Hard to see him playing that many minutes this season.

8. Kevin Durant

BRO | 32.3 years old | 6'10" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 12.6 | FX ADP: 12.8

I'm still worried about how players return from serious Achilles injuries, but he's playing like a top-10 fantasy player, and I don't think Harden joining Brooklyn is going to hurt his numbers too much (we've seen him be a top-10 player playing in Golden State)

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 8 59 33.6 0.491 (9.1/18.5) 0.871 (6.0/6.9) 2.4 26.6 6.5 4.5 1.1 1.0 3.8 10.27

The good:

Durant is an elite player whose game doesn't rely on athleticism.

The bad:

Might start the seaeson slow as he adjusts to returning to the NBA post-injury.

9. Bradley Beal

WAS | 27.6 years old | 6'3" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: SG | Y! ADP: 17.6 | FX ADP: 21.8

Beal is on an absolute tear right now. The only thing that'll get in his way is if he starts getting frustrated with getting mentioned in trade rumors 18 times a day

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 9 60 35.0 0.471 (11.5/24.4) 0.838 (7.9/9.5) 2.8 33.8 4.9 5.0 1.2 0.5 3.2 10.06
2019/20 Season 10 57 36.0 0.455 (10.4/22.9) 0.843 (6.8/8.0) 3.0 30.6 4.2 6.1 1.3 0.4 3.4 9.11

The good:

Returned top-10 per-game value last season.

The bad:

Westbrook is a ball-dominant player who will take usage away from Beal.

10. Joel Embiid

PHI | 26.9 years old | 7'0" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 15.4 | FX ADP: 16.1

He's a top fantasy player when he's switched on. Target him in a trade when he has a stretch of lower than expected output. Still a top-15 guy

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 10 60 30.7 0.490 (8.0/16.3) 0.811 (7.2/8.9) 1.1 24.3 12.2 3.1 1.0 1.5 3.2 9.60
2019/20 Season 16 51 29.5 0.476 (7.5/15.7) 0.807 (6.9/8.6) 1.1 23.0 11.6 3.0 0.9 1.3 3.1 7.88

The good:

His worst category last season was 3PM, where he averaged 1.1 per game (which is still good for a C eligible player).

The bad:

Can have stretches of games where he doesn't shoot the ball well (last season he shot 45% from the field in November, and 44% from the field in February).

11. Paul George

LAC | 30.7 years old | 6'8" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 21.0 | FX ADP: 24.9

Regular-season P is back, and he's returning top-10 value. Expect more of the same as we go deeper into the season so long as he can stay healthy

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 11 63 33.2 0.447 (8.2/18.3) 0.875 (4.5/5.1) 4.0 24.8 6.4 4.9 1.6 0.4 2.9 9.42
2019/20 Season 23 48 29.6 0.439 (7.2/16.3) 0.876 (4.0/4.5) 3.3 21.5 5.7 3.9 1.4 0.4 2.6 7.08

The good:

Injuries impacted his production last season and he could slide in fantasy drafts.

12. Christian Wood

HOU | 25.3 years old | 6'10" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 47.7 | FX ADP: 57.2

He ended last season in Detroit balling out on a depleted roster, and it looks like he'll get every opportunity to do the same on the Hardenless Rockets

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 12 68 33.4 0.528 (9.5/18.0) 0.752 (3.7/4.9) 1.7 24.4 10.3 1.4 0.6 1.7 2.0 8.26

13. Jayson Tatum

BOS | 22.9 years old | 6'8" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 11.8 | FX ADP: 12.4

He continues to improve his fantasy output, and with Kemba's knee injuries looking like a long-term thing, it means more of Tatum running the offensive end

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 13 70 34.6 0.456 (9.6/21.1) 0.813 (3.9/4.8) 3.1 26.2 7.3 4.2 1.3 0.9 2.4 8.12
2019/20 Season 21 66 34.3 0.450 (8.4/18.6) 0.812 (3.9/4.7) 2.9 23.4 7.0 3.0 1.4 0.9 2.3 7.40

The good:

Usage should continue to go up as he becomes Boston's best offensive player. Averaged 1.2 blocks during his playoff run last season so the potential to be a 1 block per game player is there.

14. Luka Doncic

DAL | 21.9 years old | 6'7" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SF | Y! ADP: 2.4 | FX ADP: 2.6

Luka is approaching walking triple-double status, his shooting %s are no longer a problem, and his defensive numbers are becoming respectable

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 14 67 34.1 0.452 (9.1/20.0) 0.768 (7.2/9.4) 2.5 27.8 9.5 8.3 1.1 0.6 4.2 8.10
2019/20 Season 15 61 33.6 0.463 (9.5/20.6) 0.758 (7.0/9.2) 2.8 28.8 9.4 8.8 1.0 0.2 4.3 8.34

The bad:

People might reach for him on draft-day and take him super early (pick 1 or 2).

15. Zach LaVine

CHI | 25.9 years old | 6'6" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: PG,SG,SF | Y! ADP: 31.2 | FX ADP: 33.2

It's debatable whether LaVine is a good-stats-bad-team guy, but you can't deny the numbers he's putting up and should continue to flirt with top 25 value this season.

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 15 68 35.3 0.460 (9.2/20.0) 0.837 (5.0/6.0) 3.5 26.9 4.8 4.2 1.4 0.5 3.4 7.80
2019/20 Season 27 60 34.8 0.449 (9.0/20.0) 0.802 (4.5/5.6) 3.1 25.5 4.8 4.2 1.5 0.5 3.4 6.58

16. Kyrie Irving

BRO | 28.8 years old | 6'2" | Y!: PG | FX: PG,SG | Y! ADP: 24.5 | FX ADP: 23.8

The talent is always going to be there, it's just a matter of whether he can stay on the court. He'll no doubt clash with Harden at some point this season.

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 16 50 32.2 0.479 (7.2/15.0) 0.913 (3.2/3.5) 3.0 20.5 4.2 5.1 1.3 0.5 2.6 7.56
2019/20 Season 6 20 32.9 0.478 (10.0/20.8) 0.922 (4.7/5.1) 2.8 27.4 5.2 6.4 1.4 0.5 2.6 11.51

The good:

His per-game production is elite and will be motivated to prove that he's capable of leading Brooklyn into a deep playoff run.

The bad:

There are serious concerns with his health, and he's always a chance to miss games.

17. Bam Adebayo

MIA | 23.5 years old | 6'9" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 18.1 | FX ADP: 18.0

The Bam break-out happened last season. Expect the offense to continue running through his hands as he establishes himself as a top-30 fantasy player

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 17 65 34.5 0.565 (6.9/12.3) 0.720 (4.0/5.5) 0.0 17.9 10.8 5.3 1.2 1.4 2.9 7.18
2019/20 Season 41 72 33.6 0.556 (6.1/11.0) 0.691 (3.7/5.3) 0.0 15.9 10.2 5.1 1.1 1.3 2.8 5.40

The good:

Shot 78.3% from the line during the playoffs and 73.5% the season prior, which bodes well for his FT% to bounce back to above 70% this season.

18. Jerami Grant

DET | 26.9 years old | 6'8" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 98.8 | FX ADP: 108.3

We all expected Grant to improve his output as he moved to Detroit, but he has exceeded my expectations as he continues to be a top-30 player in re-draft leagues, and it doesn't look like he'll be slowing down any time soon

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 18 70 35.8 0.472 (8.0/17.0) 0.844 (4.8/5.7) 2.5 23.3 5.9 2.3 0.8 1.3 1.1 7.17

19. Malcolm Brogdon

IND | 28.1 years old | 6'5" | Y!: PG,SG | FX: PG,SG | Y! ADP: 59.2 | FX ADP: 67.4

He started last season on a tear without Oladipo, has started this season on a tear, and now Oladipo is gone. If you've followed that train of thought, then you'll agree that top-35 value is sustainable for the rest of the season

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 19 62 33.8 0.467 (7.7/16.5) 0.901 (3.0/3.3) 2.4 20.8 3.6 7.1 1.6 0.2 2.4 7.17

The bad:

His defensive ability doesn't translate into fantasy numbers.

20. Giannis Antetokounmpo

MIL | 26.1 years old | 6'11" | Y!: PF,C | FX: SF,PF,C | Y! ADP: 4.3 | FX ADP: 2.6

His FT% almost dipped down to his FG% last season, but if you're drafting Giannis you're punting FT%, and he's the best fantasy player in punt FT% builds

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL
2020/21 Projection 20 69 30.8 0.537 (10.1/18.7) 0.664 (6.5/9.7) 1.5 28.0 12.8 5.5 1.0 1.0 3.7 6.94

Draft note:

His ranking is deceiving since it factors in his FT%. He's an obvious top-5 pick in H2H leagues, it just means you'll be drafting using a punt FT% build.

The good:

The best player in punt FT% builds and his 3-point shot is continuing to improve.

21. Gordon Hayward

CHA | 30.8 years old | 6'7" | Y!: SG,SF | FX: SG,SF | Y! ADP: 52.1 | FX ADP: 55.1

When he plays he's a top-30 player, you just need to cross all of your fingers that he stays on the court

The good:

Had a nice bounce-back season where his FG% rose from 46.6% to 50% and will get more usage in Charlotte.

22. Kristaps Porzingis

DAL | 25.5 years old | 7'3" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 59.7 | FX ADP: 79.1

His FG% will always be an issue since almost half of his field-goal attempts are from behind the arc, but he makes up for it with his elite shot-blocking. Injuries are the only thing limiting his upside

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL

The good:

Has an elite fantasy game and is in a great situation in Dallas.

The bad:

Injuries continue to be a common theme and his body may not be capable of playing a full season.

23. Chris Boucher

TOR | 28.0 years old | 6'9" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 134.6 | FX ADP: 120.5

He's the best center on Toronto's roster, and doesn't need to start to return top-60 value

24. Myles Turner

IND | 24.8 years old | 6'11" | Y!: PF,C | FX: PF,C | Y! ADP: 56.9 | FX ADP: 60.5

He's not a strong rebounder, and playing next to Sabonis isn't going to help that, but what he does provide is elite shot-blocking, the ability to hit 3s, and not hurt you too much from the free-throw line

SEASON # GP MPG FG% FT% 3PM PTS TREB AST STL BLK TO TOTAL

The good:

Will again be a contender to lead the league in shot-blocking.

The bad:

Hasn't averaged more than 7.3 rebounds in his 5-year career.

25. Michael Porter Jr.

DEN | 22.6 years old | 6'10" | Y!: SF,PF | FX: SF,PF | Y! ADP: 58.0 | FX ADP: 61.0

Puts up great numbers when he plays, but he's not the most mature player to step on the basketball court, which could limit his potential in the long-term

The good:

Atlanta has been desperate for interior defensive help so Capela fills an instant need. He'll work great with Trae Young on the pick and roll.

The bad:

On a team with another big man in the starting line-up and will share some rebounds and easy buckets around the rim. Atlanta also just drafted Okongwu, who plays the same position. Has a tendency of missing games.

The good:

One of his only negative categories last season was 3PM, and he managed to up it to 2 per game during the playoffs.

The bad:

Seems to play better next to a dominant ball-handler, which OKC doesn't currently have.

55. Collin Sexton

His numbers are elite when he plays 30+ minutes (averaged 2.2 STL, 2.6 BLK, 8.8 REB, and shot 78% from the field in the 5 games where he played 30+ minutes last season).

The bad:
