The most chaotic week in the NBA season is in full swing, and it's time to think about what the Bucks will do before the trade deadline on Thursday at 3 PM Eastern.  

I can promise you this: The Bucks won't be making a trade like the Kings did.  According to ESPN, the Bucks are not listening to calls regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker, Khris Middleton, or Thon Maker.  The players that are keeping the franchise relevant will be staying in Milwaukee.  With that said, there are a few players that deserve attention,

Malcolm Brogdon

With the young core and Maker being untouchable, the rest of the players are up for sale.  One surprise to my eyes is rookie Malcolm Brogdon.  Brogdon has been impressive for a 24-year-old rookie taken in the 2nd round.  He has been one of the very few bright spots in a lackluster 2016 draft class.  Trading him is a mistake.  With Matthew Dellavedova not giving stellar production, Brogdon has emerged as a good option for a starting PG until the Bucks can find a real starter.  Malcolm is averaging 9.4 PPG on 43.8% shooting (41.7% from 3), as well as 4.2 APG.  He averages 25.6 minutes per game.  For comparison, Delly averages 7.6 PPG on 39.4% shooting (36.3% from 3) with 5.2 APG, and he plays 26.5 minutes per game.  Dellavedova is clearly a pass-first guard, but it's clear who the better scorer is.  If any guard is traded, it should be Matthew Dellavedova, not Malcolm Brogdon.

Greg Monroe

Trading Greg Monroe is another mistake.  Monroe currently averages 11.6 PPG and 6.7 RPG.  His scoring provides a boost for a bench that is on fire one night, but can't hit the broad side of a barn on others.  Monroe is one of the only consistent contributors that currently comes off the bench, and has improved from his struggles last year.  His defense is noticeably better compared to last year, and he looks settled in the Bucks system on offense.  The return on a Monroe trade wouldn't be worth trading him.  Unless a team is desperate for his services, the best you are looking at is a low draft pick from a playoff team or a 2nd round pick and a mediocre player from a non-playoff team.  If the Bucks are worried that they will be caught in a KD situation, which is thinking that a player will re-sign, then he doesn't and you get nothing for him, they shouldn't be.  Monroe has a player option coming up that would pay him $17.8 million for the 2017-18 season.  There is simply no way another team offers a bench player more than that this summer.  He knows this, his agent knows this, and the Bucks know this.  Unless there is an incredible offer that would give the Bucks a top draft pick and an above average player, John Hammond needs to keep Moose in Milwaukee.

John Henson

For the love of all things good, get John Henson out of Milwaukee.  Yes, he is a lovable guy and is a big part of the comradery in the locker room, but he is just not good enough to be playing.  He averages 7.0 PPG and 5.2 RPG.  The only problem is the return on a Henson trade wouldn't be significant.  In all likelihood, the Bucks would receive a 2nd round pick or a mediocre player.  Henson is under contract until 2020, and he is currently 26.  The chances of him leaving soon are slim.  A trade, despite a bad return, is the best course of action for the Bucks to take. 

Last year I said the Bucks front office was too hesitant around the trade deadline.  This year, I hope the Bucks are smart and keep who they need, and sell who they don't.
