When we talk about the Bucks future, we refer to our "MAP", consisting of Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Jabari Parker.  Today, great news came that Jabari has been named to the 2016 US Men's Select Team.

Jabari had a great year, averaging 14.1 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 1.7 APG.  Both Giannis and Jabari together were able to show how great a duo the two could be in multiple games.  There was worry about Jabari after he was injured in his rookie season, but after this year, in which he played 76 games, there is no doubt Jabari can help lead this team to the playoffs.  It helps too that he's had some sick dunks.

Parker was named to the team Tuesday, and that was the start of the good news.  The team will be coached by future Hall of Fame Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who' coached his team to multiple Finals wins in the 2000s, and has kept the Spurs a consistent competitive team in the West for years.  Most recently, he coached them to a 67 win season with a historic home record.

While it won't be the same as an NBA season experience, the skills Jabari can learn and improve on under the eye of Pop are invaluable.  It may seem overly optimistic, but this could take Jabari's game to a new level.  Jabari will also be working with some of the top young players in the NBA, as well as the top prospects in this year's NBA Draft.

It's nice to get the honor of being named to the team, but I feel that the best part of this is that Jabari has a fantastic opportunity to improve his game more than he already has.
