The 2017-18 season is winding down and the Memphis Grizzlies have a ton of questions to answer. What could their offseason look like?

As the 2017-18 season winds down, attention should be drawn to the upcoming offseason where General Manager Chris Wallace and his staff should look into restructuring the roster. The days of the "Grit N' Grind" are unfortunately over. The style of play the NBA has transitioned towards has caused the Grizzlies to change a bit in offensive and defensive schematics where the world witnessed a deep plunge. Injuries to Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, and several other players derailed a once, promising season to one we all hope to forget. The Grizzlies have quite a few, tough decisions to make this summer. What will they do?

I've listed three actions I envision the team taking to redirect the ship. They are the following:

Draft Marvin Bagley

Despite the hype C Deandre Ayton has rightfully received lately, Marvin Bagley is still the clear-cut better prospect heading into the 2018 NBA Draft. During the 2017-18 season, Bagley averaged 21.2 PTS, 11.1 RBS and 1.5 APG for the Duke Blue Devils. The Grizzlies could utilize a player of his caliber to pair alongside Mike Conley.

Trade Marc Gasol

With the season not going as planned and franchise in doubt of its direction, it would serve the organization best to move on from Marc Gasol. As stated earlier, the NBA has transitioned to a more uptempo style that has impeded bigs like Gasol from making a true impact on the floor. Plus, with Bagley being added to the frontcourt will only create a bigger logjam at the position.

Re-sign Tyreke Evans

Tyreke Evans was such an instrumental piece to the little success Memphis had during the middle of the season. When Mike Conley went down for the season, Evans stepped up and provided the needed leadership to run the offense. I envision a Conley-Evans starting lineup where both players can interchangeably run sets.

The Memphis Grizzlies have a ton of questions to answer in deciding the direction of the franchise and what appears to be a coaching change looming soon.
