News broke of Kevin Durant's decision to join the Warriors early this morning and it almost broke twitter. Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.com has been breaking free agency news right and left these past couple days and he wasn't shy when disclosing information about the KD situation today.

Kevin Durant called Thunder GM Sam Presti and told him directly of his decision to join the Warriors, league sources tell @TheVertical.

That last tweet is my favorite. Myers knew that Durant's main focus was winning championships, his pitch was worded perfectly.

This decision will shake the NBA landscape for years to come. People have compared this to Lebron James' 2010 decision to go to Miami but it's not the same at all. Durant is going to an already stellar team while Lebron was going to South Beach to MAKE that team stellar.

When LeBron James signed with the Miami Heat back in 2010, the Heat were good but they weren't on the Warriors' level of good.

Many will say Durant is just jumping on the Warriors' bandwagon, but I disagree.

The Warriors needed a small forward; they had their choice between Harrison Barnes and Kevin Durant.

Kevin Durant needed a team where he could win a championship; he had a choice between OKC or Golden State.

Good moves by both parties.
