Week 12 Games Per Day

Monday: 3 games
Tuesday: 8 games
Wednesday: 11 games
Thursday: 6 games
Friday: 9 games
Saturday: 8 games
Sunday: 5 games

No 5 game weeks for anybody this week. In fact, the Clippers and Sixers only play 2 games and Orlando and Toronto only play 1 game against each other in London. Additionally, Wednesday is the busiest day with 10 games, so we're looking at a pretty open week in terms of scheduling.

Now, onto some week 12 standard league steaming candidates.

Ian Mahinmi 26% ownership

He remains relevant despite the return of Myles Turner. He has been incredibly consistent all year long and steadily climbing in ownership. Jordan Hill and Myles Turner continue to see reserve minutes for the time being. Over the season he is averaging roughly 7 rebounds, 8 points, 1 block, 1 TO, and 59% FG on 5.7 attempts. He has even seen a modest bump recently and that could keep up. He doesn't demand an offensive presence, but he has efficient big-man stats and doesn't hurt you in any category.

His ownership % is a bit high, but I put Mahinmi here because in previous articles I stated that all three guys would likely share minutes more or less equally upon Myles return, as they did to start the season. Thankfully I was wrong, and as the Pacers continue to fight for home-team placement I would like to see Mahinmi keep his place in the rotation, being the most well-rounded and defensive minded big on Indiana. But who knows? You could try giving Coach Vogel a call and lets us all know.

Festus Ezeli 10% ownership

Festus is very similar to Mahinmi, and his last line of 8 rebounds, 6 points and a block is pretty much what you expect of him. Bogut is also hurt a lot, but Ezeli's numbers never stray too far from his averages. Warriors play 4 games on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Dennis Schroder 18% ownership

Dennis has picked it up again after the Shelvin Mack experiment and has been a good piece of their rotation since last year. Since returning to playing time he has averaged 7.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.3 threes and 11.3 points on 50% shooting over 3 games. His main upside is an injury to Teague, but he can put up some very nice lines in his current 20 minute backup role. Atlanta has 3 games this week on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, but if this recent production is any sign of things to come he could be worth owning.

Mirza Teletovic 21% ownership

Mirza has put in some value as a 3-point specialist since Bledsoe went down. He's a streaky player for sure, but Phoenix is hurting for offense and has been worth owning for stretches before. Over his last 5 games, he's averaged 3.0 threes, and has hit a three in each of his last seven. He has some popcorn rebounds, but the 15.2 points on 46.8% shooting over his last 5 games is promising. The Suns play 3 games on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Jon Leuer 24% ownership

Jon has taken up most of Alex Len's minutes as the Suns push more small-ball. He is consistent, if underwhelming. His season averages of 5.8 rebounds and 9.2 points have risen to 6.5 rebounds and 10.5 points in his last thirty, and he averages about 0.75 for threes and steals. His TO's have risen to 1.7 in his last thirty, but he is also shooting above 50%.

Allen Crabbe 17% ownership

Allen has made himself known at this point as a waiver-wire guy. He should be good for a thee and 10 points on any given night, and has shot a fairly consistent 46.8% on the season, 44.4% in his last thirty. Portland plays 3 games on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Gary Harris 8% ownership

Gary is relatively similar to Crabbe, but he averages a solid 1.1 steals on the season, while shooting 42.5% in his last thirty, below his 45.4% on the season. Denver plays 3 games on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Larry Nance Jr. 23% ownership

I don't know how much more upside he has this year, but he does what he does generally efficiently and without hurting you. His value last week was due to Kobe's absence, but he has pushed his way into relevancy – he should be a solid 14-team add, and can help you in limited categories as a streamer in 12-team. The Lakers also play 4 games with the only B2B on Sat/Sun, so if you need some moderate help in points and rebounds he's a sneaky option. For what it's worth, Byron Scott loves his energy, and as long as he keeps hustling he should keep his minutes.
