Punting is a great way to maximize your value in your draft in head to head leagues. Here is a traditional punting strategy I have calculated using Hashtag Basketball's own projections. This strategy punts the categories that can be negative: Turnovers, Field Goal Percentage, and Free Throw Percentage. The key to this strategy is to pick players that accumulate counting statistics with high-volume shooting. The best value picks will be bigs that shoot terrible free throw percentage (classic Shaq) and guards that take a ton of shots (classic Kobe).

Going round-by-round (assuming a 10 team league) here is some great value:

Early First Round: James Harden, Steph Curry, Westbrook

Mid First Round: Whiteside. He is a top 10 pick in every league, and you don't mind if his free throw shooting regresses!

Late First Round: Durant, CP3, Anthony Davis, or Demarcus Cousins

Second Round: Draymond Green, Wall, or Paul Millsap

Third Round: Porzingis, Lowry, or Kemba Walker

Fourth Round: DeAndre Jordan or Andre Drummond, I prefer Drummond but they have similar projections. Bledsoe is also a good pick if you can't get one of the Centers.

Fifth Round: Batum or Gobert. Someone French. 

Sixth Round: Dwight Howard, Rondo, or D'Angelo Russell if he fell this low.

Seventh Round: Mirotic, Lin,  or Nerlens Noel are good values here.

Eighth Round: Clint Capela, Jrue Holiday, or Robert Covington
