and five games each.
This week has some spotty game days with Tuesday and Thursday having only three and five games each. Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Orlando and Portland play both Tuesday and Thursday - Sunday is also a quality game day featuring only four games, but no teams this week play on all three quality days. The back-to-back schedule is also very light, so those with fewer acquisitions will want to plan ahead to use them as efficiently as possible.
Shabazz Muhammad 21% ownership
Zach Lavine is confirmed done for the season and the Wolves will look to give Shabazz more run off the bench as a scorer. Lavine has only missed one game, but Muhammad was starting to draw some attention before the injury took place. In his last five games he has averaged 14.0 points with 2.0 threes and 4.4 rebounds on 47.5% shooting in 26 minutes per game. He is pretty one-dimensional with just scoring and threes but the high FG% is always appreciated from a streamer.
Brandon Rush 2% ownership
Rush will also be re-inserted into the rotation. He had a dud starting on Saturday, scoring just five points in 24 minutes, but in two previous starts in January the last time Lavine missed time, he averaged 12.5 points with 3.5 threes, 2 assists, 2.5 steals and 2 blocks shooting just under 50% from the field.
Joe Johnson 18% ownership
Rodney Hood will be out for the week at least and Joe Johnson could be a nice add this week. He's hit on 8 threes in his last three games, and those last two games he racked up a total of 32 points with 6 threes, 12 rebounds and 9 assists shooting around 56% from the field. I definitely prefer Johnson over Ingles (3%) because he can produce across the board, but you can check back in the week to see if Ingles can get his shot falling.
Willie Cauley-Stein 17% ownership
He has not had a standout year and the minutes have gone to Koufas for much of the season. However, his production has ramped up in the last month and in his last five games he has averaged 11.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.0 blocks. He also has a very strong 63% shooting from the floor on 8.6 attempts - just be aware is also a 50% free-throw shooter in that time on 1.6 attempts.
