Fri/Sat- ORL, PHI, UTA
Sat/Sun- CHI, LAL
We're looking at another moderate week with Tuesday and Thursday having the most games with nine each while Monday and Saturday have only three and five respectively. Wednesday and Thursday feature six games with Sunday's showcase being another moderate seven-game set. The B2B schedule is also not especially heavy, there are five teams playing the Tue/Wed set but otherwise only two or three per set. Chicago plays five games this week which could help out those of you rostering guys on one or more of the seven teams that play just two or less games - that's right, Denver and Indiana only play one game this week.
Doug McDermott 20% ownership
This one's the obvious pickup for standards with Chicago's five-game set this week. It also helps he's been hot and is seeing plenty of run. In his last five games he's averaged 13.6 points and 2.0 threes shooting 49%. I wouldn't count on anything besides points and threes, but he's also averaging 4.4 rebounds and 0.8 steals which isn't much but it does help round out his fantasy role. Chicago will play their five games on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Tim Hardaway Jr. 20% ownership
THJ is also going to be a sought-after streamer this week after posting 16.2 points and 3.4 threes on a stellar 54.5%. He's not offering much else of anything and he has streaky habits, but the opportunity is definitely there with Korver out of the rotation.
Amir Johnson 13% ownership
We're really digging for bigs this week, but Johnson is quietly producing 5.4 rebounds and 6.6 points on 46% shooting, but Boston plays Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday so he could be safely dropped for another weekend streamer and he's not really going to hurt you in any categories.
T.J. McConnell 23% ownership
His outlook in the rotation is uncertain with Rodriguez returning, but Philly might throw some more minutes TJ's way after averaging 8.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals in his last five. It's hard to find assists on the wire, especially right now, and his role will most likely be reduced by at least some degree but he is a serviceable asset available to the team should they decide to use it. Philadelphia plays on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
