We struck fantasy basketball waiver wire gold last week, with three players on our list now being owned in 35%+ of Yahoo leagues (Richaun Holmes, Alan Williams, and Cory Joseph). While this week’s available talent pool isn’t as deep, there’s one clear favorite who you should be adding.

Here’s a list of 6 players owned in 9% or less of Yahoo leagues, who you should consider this week.

Tyler Ulis (Phoenix Suns, PG)

Why is Tyler worth adding?
Tyler’s stock is rising, and for good reason. Phoenix are finally embracing their youth movement, and Ulis is getting plenty of minutes (an average of 23 over the past 7 days). He’s also averaging 12.8 PTS, 6.8 AST, and 1.8 STL, while shooting 58% from FG. Even excluding the FG%, those steal and assist numbers are a nice combo, even in standard leagues.

Thabo Sefolosha (Atlanta Hawks, SG/SF)

Why is Thabo worth adding?
Thabo has never been a popular pick, mainly because he doesn’t give you many flashy stats, but the 1.5 3PM and 1.5 STL he has averaged over the past week are a welcome addition to teams in need of a 3&D specialist. More importantly, he’s averaging 30 minutes a game in the same time span, which has allowed him to get some of his other counting stats up (4.8 REB, 3.3 AST).

Nik Stauskas (Philadelphia 76ers, SG/SF)

Why is Nik worth adding?
With Gerald Henderson missing games it opens up minutes at the SG spot - and they’re going to Nik. He has averaged 29 minutes a game over the past 7 days, and is capable of getting you a pair of 3PM a game, along with the odd trickle of counting stats. If you need some 3PM, Nik is worth looking at.

E'Twaun Moore (New Orleans Pelicans, PG/SG)

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.

Why is E'Twaun worth adding?
Moore was on our list last week and is still owned in only 6% of leagues. The Pelicans are still thin at the wing spot, which means minutes are there for E’Twaun. Over the past 7 days, he has averaged 31 minutes a game, putting up 10 PTS, 1.7 3PM and 3.3 AST.

Norman Powell (Toronto Raptors, SG/SF)

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 6th March and Sunday 12th March.

Why is Norman worth adding?
Powell has always been a guy that has been good enough to produce, but has been starved of opportunity in a deep Raptors rotation. The injury to Carroll has changed that. If DeMarre misses more games you can expect Norman to continue putting up numbers similar to what he has over the past 7 days: 13.3 PTS, 3.8 REB and 1 3PM.

Arron Afflalo (Sacramento Kings, SG/SF)

Why is Arron worth adding?
I feel obliged to put Arron on this list because he has had back-to-back good performances (14 PTS, 2 3PM and 17 PTS, 4 REB), but at this point, I don’t trust anybody on the Kings roster.
