This week we’re making your Super Bowl hangover a little bit more manageable by giving you 5 deep league add suggestions who are all owned in 7% or less of Yahoo leagues, and 4 players to add to your watch list.

Brandon Rush (Minnesota Timberwolves, SG/SF)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Brandon worth adding?
The SG spot is wide open with the news of LaVine being out for the season, and Rush is the likely replacement. In the 3 games, he has started this season (I know, small sample size), he has averaged 9.3 PTS, 3.3 REB, 1.7 STL, 1.7 BLK and 2.7 3PM. While the defensive numbers aren’t realistic, it shows you his ability to had the odd 2 STL or 2 BLK game, which at the SG position is nice.

Dewayne Dedmon (San Antonio Spurs, C)

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Dewayne worth adding?
On the topic of defensive numbers, Dedmon seems to have the starting center spot locked down until Gasol returns. While he’s not playing big minutes (18 per game over the past week), he’s still giving you nice defensive numbers: 7 REB, 1.3 STL, and 1 BLK over the same period.

Andre Roberson (Oklahoma City Thunder, SG/SF)

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Andre worth adding?
Let’s stick with the defensive numbers trend for one more player. Roberson is averaging 1.2 STL and 1 BLK for the season and is fresh off a huge night (huge by Roberson’s standards) of 14 PTS, 11 REB and 3 STL. If you need defensive numbers with the occasional 3PM, then chances are Roberson is available on your waiver-wire.

C.J. Watson (Orlando Magic, PG)

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is C.J. worth adding?
Stats don’t lie, and C.J. is putting them up. In the past 7 days, he has averaged 12.3 PTS, 1.8 STL and 1.3 3PM on an unsustainable 67% FG. His percentages will come back down from earth, but he’s worth riding while the hand is still hot.

Kyle O'Quinn (New York Knicks, PF/C)

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Kyle worth adding?
Noah is injured, and chances are Willy Hernangomez has already been snapped up. If O’Quinn can get 20-22 minutes, he’ll get you nice REB and BLK numbers, on a nice FG%. He’s worth an add to see how the minutes are distributed.

Watch List Candidates

Players to add to your watch list to see how their situation plays out.

Lavoy Allen (Indiana Pacers, PF/C)

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Lavoy worth watching?
Keep an eye on Thad Young’s status close to tip-off. If he’s out, then Allen is a reliable big-man option for Monday’s game against OKC since the Thunder like going big.

Miles Plumlee (Charlotte Hornets, PF/C)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Miles worth watching?
The center spot is thin with the Hornets trading out two of them big men, and Zeller still injured. Plumlee logged 18 minutes in his debut in Charlotte and is keen to show he’s worth being in the rotation. Keep an eye on him to see if he can consistently get his minutes up to 20-22.

JaVale McGee (Golden State Warriors, PF/C)

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is JaVale worth watching?
Another team who are thin at the center spot are the Golden State Warriors. With Zaza out injured JaVale has started at center. While he has only averaged 15 minutes a game over the past week, he’s still getting you 1.7 BLKs, which is hard to find on the waiver wire.

Joffrey Lauvergne (Oklahoma City Thunder, PF/C)

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 6th February and Sunday 12th February.

Why is Joffrey worth watching?
Kanter’s minutes are still up for grabs in Oklahoma, and Joffrey is putting his hand up for them. Over the past 2 games, he has averaged 11.5 PTS and 8.5 REB. Add him to your watch list to see how the situation plays out.
