Fantasy basketball managers in head-to-head league should be maximizing their games played by using the weekly schedule. Here is how to do it in Week 4.

Fantasy basketball managers are all dealing with injuries. Learning to adjust, adapt, and win weeks is going to be the key to making the playoffs. The easiest way to do it is by using the schedule to your advantage to maximize games played.

Teams that play five times (2)

Pacers, Sixers.

Teams that play four times (15)

Hawks, Celtics, Hornets, Cavaliers, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Pelicans, Knicks, Thunder, Magic, Suns, Blazers, Kings, Jazz, Wizards.

Teams that play three times (12)

Nets, Bulls, Nuggets, Pistons, Warriors, Rockets, Clippers, Lakers, Heat, Bucks, Spurs, Raptors.

Teams that play twice (1)

Timberwolves.

Fantasy basketball talking points

  1. Teams across the league are facing COVID issues. They are not going away. Fantasy managers have to be on their toes and ready to adjust at a moment’s notice. A player sitting out creates a larger opportunity for someone else. Be sure to make a decision just before the games start each day in daily leagues.
  2. Karl-Anthony Towns and Kevin Durant returned during the weekend. Kristaps Porzingis and Kyrie Irving could both return by the middle of this week. Get the stars back in your lineup in their first game back.
  3. Don’t be afraid to take chances on players this week. Rookie Tyrese Maxey dropped 39 points on Saturday. Players given a massive opportunity will go off and the production counts all the same in fantasy.
  4. The Timberwolves have by far the worst schedule this week. They only play twice and both games come on high schedule volume days.
  5. The Pacers and Sixers are set to have the best schedules. Both teams play five times over the next seven days. Give the nod to Philadelphia for having a slightly easier slate of games.
