The calendar has officially flipped to 2020. That means the fantasy basketball season is heating up. Now it the time to make trades to solidify your roster for the stretch run. Strengthen your team could be the difference between winning your championship and missing the playoffs.

Weekly lock leagues

Tips for the week: There are 15 teams (Hawks, Celtics, Nets, Hornets, Bulls, Mavericks, Nuggets, Warriors, Bucks, Pelicans, Knicks, Thunder, Spurs, Jazz and Wizards) that play four games in Week 12. The LA Clippers are the lone team playing just twice. The remaining 14 organizations have three contests.

Maximizing games played becomes important with the greater volume in Week 12. Consider replacing players playing two or three with four-game options.

Here is a look at the top ten streaming options that play four times and are owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo Leagues.

  2. Kris Dunn, Chicago Bulls, PG/SG/SF, (28%): Dunn is averaging 3.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.1 steals per game on the season. His elite swipes make him a player that should be rostered in all leagues this week.
  3. Josh Hart, New Orleans Pelicans, SG/SF, (27%): Hart is averaging 10.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.2 3-pointers made and 1.0 steal per game on the season. He is an across the board contributor that helps any fantasy lineup.
  4. Nerlens Noel, Oklahoma City Thunder, PF/C (48%): Noel produces steals and blocks in bunches. He is averaging 1.1 steals and 1.5 blocks per game on the season plus 5.1 rebounds with sturdy percentages.
  5. Kevin Huerter, Atlanta Hawks, SG, (45%): Over the last seven games, Huerter is averaging 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.4 steals, 2.1 3-pointers made, and 0.6 blocks in 31.6 minutes per game.
