Week 7 of fantasy basketball is here with a slate that allows for plenty of streaming. Here is a look at how to maximize your games played in head-to-head leagues.

Fantasy basketball managers are humming along. We are entering Week 7, which features a more favorable slate for streaming.

Our goal is to examine the schedule with the hopes of maximizing your games played in head-to-head leagues. Check out our Advanced Schedule Grid for everything else you need to know about the slate.

Weekly lock leagues

Tips for the week: The schedule is fantasy-friendly this week. 12 teams (Hornets, Bulls, Mavericks, Nuggets, Pacers, Lakers, Heat, 76ers, Suns, Blazers, Kings, and Wizards) play four times. The Celtics and Spurs have just two games. The remaining 16 organizations play three times.

Starting any Celtic or Spur other than Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, LaMarcus Aldridge, or DeMar DeRozan gets dicey. Playing someone with four games provides significantly less risk.

Here is a look at the top ten streaming options that have four games and are owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo Leagues.

  1. Rodney Hood, Portland Trail Blazers, SG/SF (17%): Hood ranks 111th in total value on the season. He is shooting an unstainable field goal percentage, but the points and threes should stick. Hood also produces 0.9 steals per game.
  2. Kelly Olynyk, Miami Heat, PF/C (42%): Olynyk checks in as the 115th ranked player on the season. He is an across the board contributor that does not stand out in any category.
  3. Mo Wagner, Washington Wizards, PF/C (32%): Wagner is a points and threes streamer that shoots fantastic percentages.
  4. Isaiah Thomas, Washington Wizards, PG (38%): Points, 3-pointers made, and assist add with upside to continue improving as he knocks off the rust.
  5. Kris Dunn, Chicago Bulls, PG/SG (14%): Dunn is averaging 1.9 steals per game. That alone makes him standard league relevant. Picking him up this week could win you a category.
  6. Cory Joseph, Sacramento Kings, PG (4%): Since De'Aaron Fox went down, Joseph is averaging 5.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.8 blocks over the eight games.
  7. Dwight Howard, Los Angeles Lakers, C (49%): Howard is averaging 7.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game despite only playing 20.3 minutes per game.
  8. Aaron Holiday, Indiana Pacers, PG (13%): Holiday is a points and threes streamer that provides help in rebounds and assists from a guard. He ranks 148th on the season.
  9. Rajon Rondo, Los Angeles Lakers, PG (28%): Rondo is averaging 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game in limited minutes.
  10. P.J. Washington, Charlotte Hornets, SF/PF (49%): The minutes have gone down with the return of Nicolas Batum, but Washington is still a solid stream for his across the board production.

Daily roster changes

First, a word on the schedule itself: There are only two days with double-digit games in Week 7. Wednesday and Friday both feature 10. We will eliminate those for streaming purposes. The rest of the slate should give fans plenty of opportunities, though.
