Fantasy Basketball Week 24 Schedule Primer

Week 24 is the finish line for most fantasy basketball leagues, and we're here to help you get your championship with our weekly streaming suggestions.

Fantasy basketball managers still reading this column have a team that has made a deep playoff run. For that, congratulations go out to you, but you still need to get through the week, so here's a look at the schedule for Week 24.

Weekly lock leagues

Tips for the week: The NBA schedule lightens up a bit in Week 24. Nine teams have four games. The New York Knicks are the only team playing twice and the remaining 20 organizations have three contests.

Take every Knick out of your weekly lock lineup. They do not have a player that I would start this week. Replace him with someone playing four times.

Here are the top waiver wire options for Week 24. Cut off for making the list is being under 50 percent rostered on Yahoo.

  1. Terrance Ross- Orlando Magic (48%)- Over his last 13 games, Ross is averaging 15.5 points and 3.2 3-pointers made per game in 27.1 minutes a night.
  2. D.J. Augustin- Orlando Magic (47%)- Over the last month, Augustin is producing 13.1 points, 5.9 assists, 1.9 3-pointers made, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 28.8 minutes a night.

That was allowed him to produce 17.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.2 3-pointers made, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks a night. A risky add because the playing time could decrease, but ride the hot hand.
