Weekly lock leagues

Tips for the week: The schedule is spread out in Week 14. Eight teams play four games. The New York Knicks and Washington Wizards head to London for a Thursday meeting. That means each team only plays once this week. The Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks both only have two games. The remaining 18 teams have three games.

Fantasy players are going to want to avoid all Knicks and Wizards. Bradley Beal may sneak into your starting lineup, but even that is questionable only playing once. Starting Hawks and Mavericks is also difficult in Week 14. Try to find four game players to fill your lineup.

Here are the top-ten players worth rostering that playing four times this week: (All percentages are based on Yahoo leagues and under 50 percent rostered was the cutoff line for available on the waiver wire)

  1. De’Anthony Melton- Phoenix Suns (8%)- Melton is playing nearly 24.5 minutes per game over the Suns' last ten. In that time, he is producing 3.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 0.9 blocks a night. The defensive production could swing your weekly matchup.
  2. Marcus Smart- Boston Celtics (42%)- Inserting Smart for his 4.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game can help managers win two categories in their weekly matchup.
  3. Kelly Oubre Jr.- Phoenix Suns (49%)- Oubre Jr. is averaging 12.1 points, 0.8 steals, 0.9 blocks, and 1.3 3-pointers made in 25.3 minutes during his time with the Suns.
  4. Mikal Bridges- Phoenix Suns (22%)- Bridges is playing 26.2 minutes per game on the year and averaging 1.4 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.3 3-pointers made.
  5. Bismack Biyombo- Charlotte Hornets (8%)- Biyombo is playing 20.8 minutes per game since the Cody Zeller injury. He is averaging 8.2 rebounds and 1.0 block per game in that time period. Biyombo should continue to produce well in each category.
  6. Bryn Forbes- San Antonio Spurs (35%)- Forbes is averaging 12.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.2 3-pointers made per game on the year.
  7. Reggie Bullock- Detroit Pistons (24%)- Bullock is producing 12.0 points with 2.5 3-pointers made, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 30.3 minutes per game on the year.
  8. Josh Jackson- Phoenix Suns (40%)- Jackson is averaging 1.0 steal, 0.6 blocks 4.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game on the year.
  9. Cory Joseph- Indiana Pacers (7%)- Joseph is producing 1.2 steals, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game in just over 25 minutes a night on the season.
  10. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander- LA Clippers (29%)- SGA is averaging 1.0 steal, 0.6 blocks, and 2.9 assists in just over 26 minutes per game. The rookie needs a few more minutes to exit the streamer’s class though.
