Fantasy Basketball Week 9 Schedule Primer

It's week 9 of the fantasy basketball season, and the schedule presents us with some fun streaming opportunities.

Tyler is out with the man-flu (it’s a scientifically proven medical condition, just don’t ask my wife), so I’m streaming myself in to help fill out your rosters this week. Don’t worry, he’ll be back next week.

Trade season started with a 3-team trade that got nobody outside of 16+ team leagues excited.

Cleveland receives Milwaukee receives Washington receives
Matthew Dellavedova George Hill Sam Dekker
John Henson Jason Smith 2021 Cleveland second-round pick
Future Milwaukee first-round pick Future Washington second-round pick
Future Milwaukee second-round pick
2022 Washington second-round pick

Sam Dekker is going to continue being Sam Dekker, John Henson is still recovering from a long-term injury, and George Hill received a DNP in his first game as an active Bucks player.

The one player to benefit from this is Alec Burks, who has averaged 14.5 PTS, 5.8 REB, 3.8 AST, and 2 3PM in 31 minutes over the past 7 days. Keep in mind one-and-a-half of those games was without Rodney Hood, who he couldn’t win the starting job over in Utah, but the trade frees up minutes for both of them to fight it out.
