Deep League Relevant: 5th Jan - 11th Jan

It looks like we all caught the Cole train last week with his ownership rocketing from 9% to being owned in 24% of Yahoo leagues. This week we look to see if we can find another highly productive player on the waiver wire.

Donald Sloan

Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 5th January and Sunday 11th January.

Why is Donald worth adding?
It's 11PM, you've got the munchies so you go to the supermarket. Once you get there you realise you only have $1 in your pocket and then you see a box of donuts marked down from $5 to 99 cents, but the food expires at midnight. That pretty much explains where Donald's value is at, he could get you near triple double numbers in his next game and then move back to being 3rd string PG the game after. Take him for the one game start and drop him as soon as George Hill comes back.

Zaza Pachulia

Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 5th January and Sunday 11th January.

Why is Zaza worth adding?
Larry Sanders being out for "personal reasons" is almost as bad as a player being "out indefinitely". Zaza is the clear winner in Larry's absence and is still only owned in 11% of leagues.

Jusuf Nurkic

Owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 5th January and Sunday 11th January.

Why is Jusuf worth adding?
I touched on Jusuf a few weeks ago and his stock as continued to grow since then. In his past 3 games he's been averaging 12 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. The only down-side is he's part of Denver's packed big man rotation. If Denver continue to struggle look for them to continue putting minutes into Jusuf.

Hassan Whiteside

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
2 games scheduled between Monday 5th January and Sunday 11th January.

Why is Hassan worth adding?
Hassan has been hosting his own Miami style block party, swatting away 12 shots in his past 4 games. With Chris Andersen struggling to stay healthy expect to see more of Hassan as the season gets longer.

Cody Zeller

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 5th January and Sunday 11th January.

Why is Cody worth adding?
Cody is quietly putting some work in Jefferson's absence. He's not going to blow you away, but he'll continue to put up decent numbers in 25-30 minutes a game.

Matthew Dellavedova

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 5th January and Sunday 11th January.

Why is Matthew worth adding?
The scrappy Australian (his nationality may have gotten him over the line in this week's blog post)! Matthew is seeing a bump in minutes due to his willingness to play defence and the mass of injuries the Cavs seem to be having. Lower your expectations (he's never going to be an efficient FG% guy) and check if he's going to be a good fit in your team while he's still getting minutes.

Players from last week's list

This is to track and compare the owned percentages of players from last week's list to today.
