I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas day and managed to sneak in a game or two of NBA in between filling your faces with food! A lot of unfortunate injuries have happened over the past few days so this article will break down those who benefit the most in deeper leagues.

Both Lance Thomas (Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues) and Gary Harris (Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues) have been covered in previous lists and are still available in deep leagues, but here's a fresh list of new deep league candidates who are owned in 7% of less of Yahoo leagues.

Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns, SG)

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
5 games scheduled between Monday 28th December and Sunday 3rd December.

Why is Devin worth adding?
Phoenix are a mess right now. They just lost to the 76ers, Bledsoe just tore his meniscus in his right knee, their coach is on the verge of getting fired and their season is well and truly on the way to being over. This means one logical thing; it's time to play the kids.

The likely replacement for Bledsoe in the starting line-up is the still very raw Devin Booker. Expect to see some up and down games, especially given he’s recovering from a slight injury of his own, but if Phoenix are committed to giving him 25-28 minutes a game you can expect 10-12 PTS, 2 3PM and 1 STL. Phoenix also plays 5 games this week.

Joe Ingles (Utah Jazz, SG/SF)

Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 28th December and Sunday 3rd December.

Why is Joe worth adding?
With Alec Burks out for the next 6+ weeks with a fractured left fibula it opens up 20-22 minutes in Utah's SG rotation, which brings Ingles into the equation.

In Joe's past 2 games he has averaged 10 PTS, 3 REB, 3 3PM and 1.5 STL and is worth adding in the short term given Utah's first 2 games this week are against the 76ers and Timberwolves.

Mike Scott (Atlanta Hawks, PF)

Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 28th December and Sunday 3rd December.

Why is Mike worth adding?
Atlanta has a back-to-back on Monday-Tuesday, making Mike a good streaming option while Splitter is still out. Mike has put up 13.8 PTS and 1.8 3PM on a not-maintainable 64% FG, but is still worth streaming if you need a 3PM boost to start the week.

Carl Landry (Philadelphia 76ers, PF)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 28th December and Sunday 3rd December.

Why is Carl worth adding?
Carl has a shorter shelf-life than the Christmas day left-overs still in my fridge, but he's a good streaming option until Okafor returns to the 76ers line-up.

In his past 2 games (his only games of the season) he has averaged 13 PTS, 6.5 REB and has shot respectable percentages (56% FG and 80% FT), which is rare for a 76er. Just remember to keep an eye on Okafor's return date.
