Welcome back to another season of deep league relevant; a weekly waiver wire suggestion article, targeted at those who play in deep leagues (where 180+ players get drafted).

If you’re reading this looking for suggestions and expecting to read about players like Ryan Anderson and Kyle Korver then these articles aren’t for you (and I wish you all of the best playing in your 6 team league).

To echo the sentiment of others, minutes is the most important stat in fantasy basketball and you can multiply that in deep leagues by 100! I wanted to use a “keeping it 100 emoticon”, but I don’t have the street cred, nor am I’m trendy enough to know whether I’m using it properly or not.

The only pre-requisite of making this list is being owned in 15% or less of Yahoo leagues at the time of writing this article, making them available in most deep leagues.

Dennis Schroder (Atlanta Hawks, PG)

Owned in 13% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 26th October and Sunday 1st November.

Why is Dennis worth adding?
There’s one main reasons why you should be adding Schroder this week; the schedule.

The Hawks are one of only two teams who have a 4 game schedule this week, with 3 of those games on days that only have 3 (Tue), 3 (Thu) and 7 (Sun) games played. Meaning you’ll definitely have an active roster spot for him, unless you’re a total homer and drafted 10 players from your favorite team. Add Dennis if you're wanting to boost your PTS and AST numbers.

Nate Robinson (New Orleans Pelicans, PG/SG)

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 26th October and Sunday 1st November.

Why is Nate worth adding?
The majority of the starting PG minutes will be going to Nate and that’s a big deal (see paragraph 2 of this article). With Jrue still being limited to 15 minutes (which is coaches’ talk for 20 minutes) and Evans out until December it makes Nate an important add for the next few weeks if you're after a boost in PTS, AST, STL and 3PM. It also doesn’t hurt that 2 of his 3 games for the week are on days that have a total of 3 and 6 games played.

Kris Humphries (Washington Wizards, PF/C)

Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 26th October and Sunday 1st November.

Why is Kris worth adding?
Did you hear that Kris has been working on his 3 point shot this off-season? It seems like every big man has been launching them from behind the 3 point line this pre-season, except Kris looks like he might actually be taking them when the season starts. He’s worth adding to see how the starting PF situation plays out in Washington.

Joffrey Lauvergne (Denver Nuggets, PF/C)

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 26th October and Sunday 1st November.

Why is Joffrey worth adding?
Joffrey is worth the add for the potential team names you can run with that include Game of Thrones references, but if it's a legit fantasy basketball reason you're after then he’s also in line to start while Nurkic is out injured and can give you a nice boost in big man stats without hurting your FT% too much.

Tony Snell (Chicago Bulls, SG/SF)

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 26th October and Sunday 1st November.

Why is Tony worth adding?
Chicago plays 4 games this week, with 2 of them on days that have a total of 3 (Tue) and 7 (Sun) games played. While I’m not high on Snell, he could have sneaky 1 week value if you’re desperate and nobody else is available.

An honourable mention goes to Isaiah Canaan (owned in 15% of Yahoo leagues), who would have made this list if Philadelphia had more than 2 games scheduled for the week.
