Deep League Relevant: 23rd Mar - 29th Mar

If you’re reading this, kudos to you for making it this far into the playoffs. Today we’re going to take a look at players who should be available in most deep 12-14 team leagues (owned in 9% of Yahoo leagues or less) who also have a favourable week 22 match-up.

Leandro Barbosa (Golden State Warriors, PG/SG)

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Leandro worth adding?
The Injury to Klay Thompson has opened up some playing time at the SG spot and Barbosa's outside shooting has helped fill the void (only slightly, it's a big void to fill). Over the past 3 games Barbosa has averaged 15 points, 1.7 steals and 1.7 threes on an efficient 58% FG. Golden State is also the only team to open the week with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, which makes him an ideal streaming candidate to start the week even if Klay returns early.

Ray McCallum (Sacramento Kings, PG)

Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Ray worth adding?
Ray has been locked in a time-share with Andre Miller ever since being awarded the starting spot, but if last night's game against Washington was any indication the minutes for Ray are starting to creep up. Keep an eye on Ray if you need some points and assists in a favourable Tuesday night match-up against Philadelphia.

Tiago Splitter (San Antonio Spurs, C)

Owned in 9% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Tiago worth adding?
Tiago seems to be getting it together just at the right time for San Antonio (who have been desperate to work out their rotation at the C spot). He has been putting up top 60 numbers over his past 4 games scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds during that stretch on an insane 70% FG. Be wary of the Spurs tough schedule this week as they play Dallas twice, OKC and Memphis.

Luis Scola (Indiana Pacers, PF/C)

Owned in 9% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Luis worth adding?
Luis gets a mention in this week's list purely because he's one of the better options available on the waiver wire in deep leagues that has a game scheduled on Thursday. Yes, Indiana and Milwaukee are the only 2 teams with a Thursday game so take a look at who is available on the waiver wire from those teams if you need a streaming option.

Thomas Robinson (Philadelphia 76ers, PF)

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Thomas worth adding?
Thomas continues to be a per-minute stud; it's just that he's not getting too many minutes to produce. In his past 3 games he has put up 11 points, 6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in only 15 minutes of playing time and is an option for a spot-start during the week.

Omri Casspi (Sacramento Kings, SF/PF)

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Omri worth adding?
Omri seems to have the trust of George Karl and has played 30+ minutes in 3 of his past 4 games, during which he has averaged 11 points, 1.3 threes, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Sacramento only plays 3 times this week, but one of those games is against Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Zach LaVine (Minnesota Timberwolves, PG)

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Zach worth adding?
Zach's value is tied to whether Ricky Rubio is playing or not. With Minnesota not really having much to play for (other than a better lottery pick) they're more likely to let Rubio sit an extra game or two. In those games where Rubio sits Zach lights it up, look to add Zach on the days you know Rubio is out.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (Philadelphia 76ers, PF)

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 23rd March and Sunday 29th March.

Why is Luc worth adding?
One of the few players to consistently get 30 minutes of playing in Philadelphia time this season is Luc (don't ask me why). While he's slowly seeing his minutes drop he's still seeing 25+ minutes a game and putting up some nice point, rebound, three and assists totals.
