I'm going to get in early by explaining why Bobby Portis isn't on this week's list (because I know it's coming). I'm a big fan of Portis and think Chicago need to make a trade to free up some minutes for him, but he got 23 minutes on the end of a back-to-back where Chicago played in a 4OT game. He has played a combined 6 minutes in the 11 games prior to his last and has 4 quality players ahead of him in the PF/C rotation. I like the kid and he has the potential to be a good player, but it's hard to see where the minutes are going to come from.

Now onto the players who have actually made the list.

Lance Thomas (New York Knicks, SG/SF)

Why is Lance worth adding?
Lance has flown under the radar and has been putting up Will Barton lite roto friendly numbers over the past 2 weeks (11.6 PTS, 3.3 REB, 1.4 3PM and 0.9 STL on 52% FG and 91% FT).

Two of the Knicks four games this week are on a MON and SUN (days where you’re likely not going to have a full line-up) so he also makes for a good streaming option.

Terrence Ross (Toronto Raptors, SG/SF)

Why is Terrence worth adding?
Something seems to have finally clocked for Ross since moving to the bench to start the season. He’s always had the potential to be a 3 point gunner off the bench and it finally seems to be happening. Over the past 2 weeks he has averaged 2.4 3PM, 11.3 PTS, 1 STL, 0.9 BLK, which looks sustainable.

Although Toronto only plays twice this week, one of those games is on a TUE so you can either add him as an early streaming option or as somebody with some nice long-term appeal.

Andrea Bargnani (Brooklyn Nets, PF/C)

Why is Andrea worth adding?
Since returning from his week off Bargnani has been putting up solid scoring numbers (15.8 PTS, 52% FG and 81% FT over the past 2 weeks).

He won’t give you anything in any other categories other than REB (5.4 over the past 2 weeks), but he’s a decent option if you need a boost in PTS so long as he continues to shoot above 45% from the field. Be warned though, all of Brooklyn’s games fall on the busiest days this week, so he may not make it to your starting roster.

Jared Dudley (Washington Wizards, SG/SF)

Why is Jared worth adding?
Jared was featured in last week’s list and is still only owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues so he’s going to get another mention.

In the past 7 days he has put up averages of 11.7 PTS, 5.7 REB, 1 STL and 1.7 3PM. With Beal is still out injured Jared makes for a solid 3-and-D option.

P.J. Hairston (Charlotte Hornets, SG/SF)

Why is Jared worth adding?
Don’t look now, but it looks like PJ has finally developed an outside shot!

He has hit 11 3s over his past 4 games and is worth a speculative add in deeper leagues while he continues his hot stream from outside.
