With next week being an unpredictable short/long week (depending on how your league is set up) it makes this week that little bit more important to make sure you have some extra points on the board. Today we take a look at players owned in 10% or less of Yahoo leagues.

Amar'e Stoudemire (Miami Heat, PF/C)

Why is Amar'e worth adding?
Miami has battled through injuries over the past few weeks, with their most notable injury being Whiteside. Stoudemire has helped fill the void at C by putting up averages of 9.3 PTS, 9.3 REB, 1.5 STL and 1 BLK over the past 7 days.

His minutes won’t exceed the high 20’s, but he can still get you some nice stats in limited playing time. One thing you can rely on are his solid percentages (51% FG and 83% FT over the same period), which makes him a friendly Roto option and solid play until Whiteside returns (later this week).

Wayne Ellington (Brooklyn Nets, SG)

Why is Wayne worth adding?
Ellington has walked into the starting line-up in Brooklyn and has found himself on a nice, small run. Over the past 7 days he has averaged 11.8 PTS, 4 REB and 2.3 3PM in 30 minutes of playing time. Anybody who finds themselves playing 30 minutes in Brooklyn is worth taking a look at, especially Ellington.

Jared Dudley (Washington Wizards, SG/SF)

Why is Jared worth adding?
Jared has found himself back in the starting line-up in Washington after Nene’s brief run starting at PF. Dudley continues to be one of those quiet guys who’s a consistent source of 3PM and STL and has put up averages of 11.8 PTS, 3.8 REB, 1.5 STL and 1.3 3PM over the past 7 days, which is consistent with what you can expect from him if he continues to start.

Cory Joseph (Toronto Raptors, PG)

Why is Cory worth adding?
Cory has found himself on a bit of a hot streak, having not shot below 54% from FG in his past 4 games. In the same period he has averaged 12.3 PTS and 4.3 AST on 61% FG. He’s worth looking at until he starts to cool off if you need a source of PTS and AST. Toronto also start the week with a B2B on Mon-Tue.
