Welcome to the fifth installment of deep league relevant. Injuries, out of form players and a bunch of Zeller’s has led to us going 10 deep in this week’s list.

Jason Terry

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Jason worth adding?
What happens when a team’s starter and back-up point guard both get injured in the same week? It means Jason Terry gets all of the minutes his old legs can handle. On a team that preaches the 3 ball it’s safe to assume Terry will be taking as many as Harden will allows him so take a look at him if you need 3s this week.

Greivis Vasquez

Owned in 9% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Greivis worth adding?
Toronto aren’t shy of playing a 2 PG line-up, and given Greivis is listed at 6-6 he has the height to attempt to match most opposition SGs. Keep an eye on who Toronto are planning on starting while DeMar is out because chances are it’s Greivis.

James Johnson

Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.

Why is James worth adding?
DeMar DeRozan’s injury means more playing time for Toronto’s wing players, if you missed the boat on Lou Williams and Vasquez and you need some defensive stats then James Johnson is worth looking at.

Anthony Bennett

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Anthony worth adding?
Bennett is never going to live up to the hype of being the number 1 pick and it’s still debatable whether he’ll even turn into a quality starter, but right now he’s putting together a nice stretch of games and looks to have found his role coming off the bench. On a team that has no plans of winning expect to see his minutes creep up as the season and losses continue.

Brandon Bass

Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Brandon worth adding?
Brandon’s late play has been a product of Olynyk’s constant foul trouble and it looks like it might take Kelly a while to work things out. It’s also no secret that Boston have been trying to shop Brandon around so they may be inclined to give him a few extra minutes while he’s on a hot streak to see if another team is willing to bite.

Tyler Zeller

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Tyler worth adding?
Another Celtic making the most of Olynyk’s poor form is Zeller. His high percentages for a C mean he’s a safe play, his high foul rate and Boston’s depth at the PF/C spot mean Zeller’s minutes will be limited, even when he does start.

Hollis Thompson

Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Hollis worth adding?
Hollis is making the most of being on the Philadelphia roster and is back into the starting line-up while Tony Wroten is out injured. If you need a 1 week add make sure to check if Hollis fits your team build.

Rasual Butler

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Rasual worth adding?
It’s hard to ignore numbers and an efficient 3 point shooter is often hard to find. Butler is shooting above 55% from the field while averaging 1.5 3s a game. Don’t expect too much production in the other categories though.

Cody Zeller

Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.
2 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Cody worth adding?
Cody is currently starting in place of the injured Marvin Williams, but don’t expect him to keep the starting job once Marvin returns. Zeller is obviously the better player, but Marvin is starting to help stretch the floor. Without him the paint is clogged up, reducing Al's space to post up and Walker's space to penetrate. Charlotte need somebody else in the starting line-up who can hit the 3 to let the other starters do their thing.

Kyle O’Quinn

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 1st December and Sunday 7th December.

Why is Kyle worth adding?
Kyle is more of a “wait and see” kind of add. He showed promise towards the end of last season and has just come back from an injury. It’s going to take a few more games to see if he can get his groove back and to see where he fits in the team, but it has the potential to pay off in the long term.
