If you read our blog post last week you'll already have Hassan Whiteside on your team. Kudos to you and I hope you enjoyed his 23 point, 16 rebound and 2 block game last night. Jusuf Nurkic was also suggested and saw his ownership shoot up from 14% to 42% in Yahoo Leagues.

Let's see if we can continue our hot streak and find another highly productive player that should still be available in most 12-14 team deep leagues.

Jae Crowder

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.

Why is Jae worth adding?
You're looking at the current starting SF of the Boston Celtics. In the past 4 games he has put up top 120 numbers and looks like a solid play for the remainder of the season so long as Brad Stevens doesn't get any crazy ideas like starting Prince for more than 1 or 2 games. If he does, don't stress, he did the same thing when they got Nelson.

Quincy Acy

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
1 game scheduled between Monday 12th January and Sunday 18th January.

Why is Quincy worth adding?
Quincy averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds and 1.3 3s last week and is worth a grab for those wanting to take a gamble on the mess that is the current New York Knicks. Be warned though, New York only play once this week.

CJ Watson

Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 12th January and Sunday 18th January.

Why is CJ worth adding?
If you’re willing to roll the dice on his foot injury he’ll make for an interesting plug-and-play option this week. He’ll contribute in points, 3s and assists and Indiana have a relatively easy schedule playing Minnesota, Detroit and Charlotte.

JJ Hickson

Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 12th January and Sunday 18th January.

Why is JJ worth adding?
Hickson looked like a man who hadn't eaten for a week. He feasted on the boards putting up back to back rebounding games and is worth a look at if Jusuf Nurkic isn't available in your league. A note of caution, Denver plays Dallas twice this week.

James Johnson

Owned in 17% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 12th January and Sunday 18th January.

Why is James worth adding?
Don't look now, but James Johnson is starting to become deep league relevant again, Terrence Ross hasn't exactly cemented his spot in the starting line-up in the absence of DeRozan. Don't be surprised to see Johnson cutting into Ross' minutes once DeRozan returns. Toronto plays 4 times this week, including a game against the 76ers.

Brandan Wright

Owned in 18% of Yahoo leagues.
2 games scheduled between Monday 12th January and Sunday 18th January.

Why is Brandan worth adding?
I think it's pretty obvious what Phoenix are wanting with Wright. Giving Wright more minutes than Plumlee in his first game, without a practice and very little knowledge of their system is a bit of an insight as to how bench minutes will be distributed moving forward.
