Prepare yourself for fantasy basketball hell week if you rely on Raptor, Magic, 76er or Clipper players.

Prepare yourself for fantasy basketball hell week if you rely on Raptor, Magic, 76er or Clipper players.

Prepare yourself for fantasy basketball hell week if you rely on Raptor, Magic, 76er or Clipper players. Toronto and Orlando only have 1 game scheduled for the week with Philadelphia and the Clippers only having 2.

If you're in a H2H league with a team heavily featuring players from the above teams and you're looking at a heavy loss then try and stack your team to win 3 or 4 categories. Streaming can also help minimise the damage. The Spurs have a B2B on Mon-Tue, so keep an eye out for any starters being rested.

Now onto some deep league suggestions who are owned in 3% or less of Yahoo leagues.

Brandon Rush (Golden State Warriors, SG)

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 11th January and Sunday 17th January.
3PM PTS Short term appeal

Why is Brandon worth adding?
Have the splash brothers been reunited with their long lost brother? Rush has been out of the picture for the past few seasons, but it looks like he’s finally healthy and hitting 3s at an impressive rate (2.8 3PM over the past 7 days). Expect him to lose minutes as Barnes gets healthier, but Rush makes for a good add if you need 3PM and PTS this week.

Cameron Payne (Oklahoma City Thunder, PG)

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 11th January and Sunday 17th January.
3PM FG% Long term appeal

Why is Cameron worth adding?
The rookie has earned himself back-up PG duties and has averaged 21 MIN, 10 PTS, 2.3 REB, 1.7 AST and 1.3 3PM on 46% FG over the past 7 days. His minutes have steadily included as he’s gained more trust from the coaching staff and makes for a nice add since OKC play the Timberwolves twice this week.

Donald Sloan (Brooklyn Nets, PG/SG)

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 11th January and Sunday 17th January.
AST Long term appeal

Why is Donald worth adding?
The other point guard on the Nets roster to benefit from the Jack injury is Sloan. Neither are going to be the next Ish Smith and they’re both going to be stealing minutes from each other, but if Larkin is already owned in your league then Sloan is worth looking at to see if he can continue from his most recent 15 PTS, 10 AST and 2 3PM outing against Detroit (albeit in a blow-out loss).

Quincy Acy (Sacramento Kings, SF/PF)

Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 11th January and Sunday 17th January.
FG% Short term appeal

Why is Quincy worth adding?
Sacramento is going against the small ball trend while Casspi is out injured by inserting Acy into their starting line-up. In his past 2 games as a starter Acy has averaged 13.5 PTS, 3.5 REB and 1 BLK on 84% from the field. He’s another short-term option who returns to being unrosterable once Casspi returns.
