This is the time of the fantasy basketball season where most deep leaguers get excited. We’re starting to see how rosters and rotations are settling after the trade deadline, and with only two weeks before most H2H finals begin, now’s the perfect time to complete your roster with somebody who can help you cement a playoff seed, or get you over the line in a Roto category.

Today we're going to take a look at the waiver wire to find players owned in 8% or less of Yahoo leagues.

Richaun Holmes (Philadelphia 76ers, PF/C)

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Richaun worth adding?
There’s no denying Holmes has talent, it’s just a matter of finding playing time for him. The recent departure of Ersan and Noel helps, but ultimately, it comes down to Embiid’s health. If Embiid is out for an extended period, expect Richaun to continue putting up numbers similar to what he has done over the past two games - 10 PTS, 6 REB, 1.5 STL and 3.5 BLK on 69% FG. Embiid isn’t due back for a few more games, so at the very least, he can be an excellent streaming option.

Skal Labissiere (Sacramento Kings, PF/C)

Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Skal worth adding?
The post-Boogie Kings prove to be an interesting situation. Gone is their scoring, rebounding and usage leader. But on the other hand, they’re the Kings (a mess). Still, this situation is too good to pass up, and while most people rushed to add Willie Cauley-Stein, most have forgotten about Skal, who in his past two games has averaged 10 PTS, 8 REB and 1 STL on 53% FG. He’ll be somebody to consider if he reaches and maintains 25 minutes a game.

Denzel Valentine (Chicago Bulls, SF)

Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Denzel worth adding?
Chicago’s front office are keen to see what Denzel can do (so much that they were happy to trade McDermott on the cheap), and it’s easy to see why. In his past two games, he has been on fire, averaging 4 3PM, 13 PTS, and 1.5 STL. He won’t maintain his 60% FG, but it’s worth riding the hot streak if you need 3PM.

Alan Williams (Phoenix Suns, PF)

Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Alan worth adding?
Alan is worth looking at for the short-term, so long as Tyson Chandler remains out of the rotation. In his past two games, he has averaged 16.5 PTS, 9 REB and 1.5 STL on an impressive 68% FG. More importantly, is that he’s doing it in 24 minutes a game.

Cory Joseph (Toronto Raptors, PG)

Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Cory worth adding?
Cory Joseph is getting a chance to run the point, with Kyle Lowry out because of a wrist injury. It’s unknown how long Lowry will be out for, but if Toronto keeps winning, it gives them the added luxury of giving Lowry some extra time to recover, which bodes well for Cory. Over the past two games, he has averaged 12.5 PTS, 6 AST, 2 STL and 34 minutes of playing time.

Ben McLemore (Sacramento Kings, SG)

Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Ben worth adding?
With Cousins gone, the Kings desperately need somebody who can put the ball in the basket, and McLemore is one of the few people left on the roster who can do it. He has only averaged 14 PTS and 2.5 3PM over his past two games, but his minutes should regularly hit the 30-minute mark, which gives him an excellent opportunity to get some of those other counting stats up.

Alex Abrines (Oklahoma City Thunder, SG)

Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues.
4 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is Alex worth adding?
Alex has had the chance to get significant minutes on the court with Oladipo out of the lineup with back spasms. His value is tied to Oladipo’s return, and he’s only a 3-point specialist, but if you’re in need of 3PM then Alex can be somebody to stream in, having averaged 4 of them over his past two games.

E'Twaun Moore (New Orleans Pelicans, PG/SG)

Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues.
3 games scheduled between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

Why is E'Twaun worth adding?
New Orleans desperately need some help on the wing, and Moore is one of the few half-decent wing players on their current roster. The opportunity is there, but this is more of a wait-and-see situation to see who else the Pelicans add to their roster over the next few days.
