The Dallas Wings are back in action this week and have a light schedule as they only play two games. They play New York on the road and Seattle at home and will try to improve their record from 2-2.

Tuesday, May 29: vs New York Liberty

The Dallas Wings will end their three-game road trip with a game in New York this week. After splitting the first two road games in Minnesota and Atlanta, the Wings will try to end their road trip on a winning note. Although New York has not gotten off to a good start in the early part of the season, their games have been close and could have been wins instead. Liz Cambage will have an advantage over Tina Charles but that also means Cambage needs to defend against Charles otherwise it will be a long night for the Wings. New York is currently missing some key players, which means other players from New York have stepped up their game. Rookie Kia Nurse has gotten off to a great start and it will be up to Allisha Gray to try to slow her down. This game is winnable for the Wings if Liz Cambage has a big game and they defend well against New York.

Saturday, June 2: vs Seattle Storm

After several days off, the Wings will be back in action on Saturday evening. The Dallas Wings will have their hands full with the improved version of the Seattle Storm. They will have to try to contain the likes of Breanna Stewart and Jewell Loyd. They will also have to defend against Natasha Howard and rookie Jordin Canada who has played well. Skylar Diggins-Smith will need to have a big game and slow down both Loyd and Canada. This is not an easy task, and it will require help from her teammates in Karima Christmas-Kelly and Kayla Thornton. This game will be tough as Seattle is not an easy opponent for the Wings. It will test the Wings defense and if their defense is up to par, this game will end in a Dallas victory. Liz Cambage will have a big game as Seattle does not have the size to slow her down, but she will need to defend against the likes of Stewart and Howard. This is also just the second home game for the Wings so they need to capitalize in terms of home court advantage.
